Week 2 of the NFL Preseason comes to a close on Sunday night in Music City. The Tennessee Titans are hosting the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Seattle Seahawks, at Nissan Stadium tonight on FOX. Mike Macdonald and the reigning Super Bowl Champion Seahawks take on the Titans in Music City tonight
As always, let's find out who is going to be on the field. These teams had a joint practice this week, which is leading Seattle Head Coach Mike Macdonald to sit most of his notable starters, such as Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp. That means Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe will be the Seahawks' field generals this evening, but obviously both have prior experience with the team and in the NFL, and I will expect the best from both of them.
On the other side, Tennessee will going hard. Robert Salah said the Titan's starters will be available, with Cam Ward and the first team probably going around 20-25 plays or so. Ward led them to an 11 play, 95 yard touchdown drive in his second series last game against the 49ers, now he gets a chance to do it in front of his home crowd.
Tony Pollard scored the Tennessee Titans only touchdown in their last preseason game. He had five total last year.

Keep in mind, this is just preseason football. After more and more training camp injuries are piling up, I believe coaches may get scared into not playing their starters as much as planned or advertised. However, in this spot tonight, I think motivation in the coach's mind could be the difference maker in this game.
One likes to evaluate players and try new schemes in the preseason, without much focus on the scoreboard. The other treats these contests like real, regular season action, and plans to win.

Cam Ward leads the Tennessee Titans against the Seattle Seahawks tonight in Nashville. He should be out there for about 20-25 snaps.
Best Bet: Titans 1H -2.5 (-120) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
I'll pay a buck 20 for the Titans to lead by a field goal after the first half. First and foremost, they will play their starters, so we will get Ward against a second or third string Seahawks defense. Plus, I believe Robert Salah is more inclined to go out and win a preseason football game than the other side line. Mike Macdonald is just 3-3 in the preseason as a head coach, while Salah is 11-2.
Yes, I understand it is the preseason and that could be a meaningless stat. But I'll choose to interpret it by thinking that Tennessee's head coach is also giving himself some game reps in the postseason. Situational football and time management are just a couple of "muscles" that coaches can actually "work out" in the preseason, rather than in training camp.
Therefore, I think Tennessee starts off much stronger, especially with their defense getting to defend Lock and Milroe.
