The Seattle Storm looks to keep rolling tonight as they head to Las Vegas to take on the Aces. Seattle is sitting 2nd in the Western Conference with a 9-5 record while the Aces are struggling with a 6-6 record.
Both these teams met about 2 weeks ago and the Storm handed the Aces a fat L, winning by 13 points. Seattle just had a nice L handed to them from the Mercury, so they come into this game off the loss.
Seattle is 8-2 in their last 10 games, but 5-4 on the road, so tonight should be a good test for them. Coming off the bad loss, this could be a nice get right spot for the Storm
Bringing in the likes of Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike has really pushed the Storm up the ranks. They have fit right in with Jewell Loyd and Ezi Magbegor and should continue to flourish as long as they can stay healthy.
Las Vegas will look to get back to winning ways in front of home crowd
Las Vegas isn’t off to the start that most expecting. Sitting 4th in the West and having suffered some bad losses, this team is still the Aces and it is still early.
A’ja Wilson has been playing out of her mind. She just ended her new record of 25+ points scored in 8 straight games. The longest streak held by a player in the history of the league.
Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum have been doing their part and shooting well. Chelsea Gray will be making her season debut, so we’ll see if she’s the ingredient that has been missing.
This team is really not good on defense. Their lack of rebounding is really hurting them, especially offensively. Las Vegas also ranks in the bottom of the league for defensive rating, so they need to play better defense and I think they’ll win more games.
Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

Seattle really looks good so far and are coming off a bad loss. This game is no easy one but would be a huge bounce back spot for them. I don’t know if they win, but they’re covering 6 points.
The Aces are still the Aces. don’t get me wrong. They lead the league in almost all offensive categories. Chelsea Gray has also just returned back from injury and will add to this offense.
Unfortunately for Las Vegas, they play horrible defense and don’t rebound well at all. These are the areas where the Storm take advantage. Seattle does have the 3rd best defensive rating so far this year.
For Storm vs Aces prop picks, I like Nneka Ogwumike for over 17.5 points at -110 and Sky Diggins-Smith for over 5.5 assists. For Sky, we have to pay the juice man with the line at -160, but if you can find 7 – take it because it should be around -110.
