Seattle will host a fierce Chicago Sky team who comes in one a 2-game winning streak. This is the 2nd game of a back-to-back between these 2 teams and Chicago won the 1st game 88-84 on Friday night.
The Sky are led by rookie Angel Reese who has shown she is a force to be reckon with. She’s averaging 13.9 points and 11.7 rebounds per game, which is insane for a rookie.
Even though they won their last 2 games, the Sky are 4-6 in their last 10 games, but 3-2 in their last 5 games. They are 8-11 on the year and currently in the 3rd spot of the Eastern Conference.
This team has received quite the amount of attention with the drafting of Reese and the battle that the media created between her and Caitlin Clark. Both teams seem to be winning now that the players are comfortable, so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out.
Seattle looking to continue to quietly climb the standings
Seattle made some big offseason moves and got Sylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike. The additions are more than paying off. The Storm are 2nd in the Western Conference with a 13-7 record.
The Storm are currently 6-4 in their last 10 games and coming off the loss to the Sky. You know that loss left a bad taste in their mouth, and this is a perfect get back spot.
Jewell Loyd helps lead this offense powerhouse. The Storm rank in the top of the league for points and rebounds per game as well as pace. Chicago leads the league in rebounding so it will be interesting to see who will be grabbing boards.
On defense, the Storm are one of the best in the league. They have the 3rd best defensive rating and lead the league in steals with 10.1 per game. The Sky were able to battle in the last game, so Seattle will look to adjust for this game.

What a game the other night. As we say in hockey, an absolute barn burner. Close game that came down to the end and the underdog pulling off the upset.
Now as bettors, we’re taking the Sky with 9.5 points. That’s a lot of points for a team that has shown they can compete with the other. As sports people, I do believe that the Storm will come out with the victory, but not by more than 10 points.
Angel Reese will be all over the boards again. We’ll be taking her 12+ rebounds at -122 odds. She will play a big role in this game, trying to keep the ball out of the Storms hands.
We should see another barn burner and a close game. Chicago really wants to stay as high in the standings as they can, so they’ll compete. We all know they want to finish better than the Fever and hey, motivation is motivation.
