The Las Vegas Aces will host the Chicago Sky tonight at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. These 2 teams just met a week ago and the Aces just got the win by 2 points. It’s crunch time, so it’ll be interesting to see what Sky vs Aces picks we can find for this game.
Las Vegas is 20-12 so far this season. They’re sitting 2nd in the Western Conference behind the Minnesota Lynx. The Aces are 5-5 in their last 10 games and won their last 2 games.
At home, they are 10-7 on the year. This team has had a hard time covering the spread this year, but winning is what matters in the end. At one point, the Aces were 4th in the West and have turned it around.
A’ja Wilson continues to play out of her mind. She is just coming off a 41 point and 17 rebound performance. These numbers are just insane for the WNBA and shows how much it’s evolving. Wilson is odds are on her way to another MVP.
Struggling Sky look to get a win, but have a tough task vs the Aces
Chicago has been completely lost since they came back from the break. They have been missing Chennedy Carter who has been their leading scorer. She went from a bench player to a starter after just a few games.
Without her, the team is missing 17.2 points per game of contribution. She also was a good passing option to help open up players. Carter is currently questionable for this game, so we’ll have to watch for updates.
Angel Reese is the other main offensive player for the Sky. She just broke the record for most rebounds by a player in 1 season. Reese really can’t shoot to save her life but makes sure to get her offensive boards…which add up really quickly.
It is definitely a tough task for the Sky, but they need to get wins if they want to stay in playoff contention. The Dream won the other night and are now tied with Chicago for the 8th spot.
Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

Las Vegas is looking to repeat this season and needs to kick it into gear now. They haven’t been covering their spreads at all lately, but this is a great spot for them to pound on someone. Looking for that 3rd win in a row in front of the home crowd will be another driver.
I like for the Aces to get out to an early lead and never look back. They’re going to be physical and looking to play fast. Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum will be shooting from behind the arch. Look for Chelsea Gray to be dishing it to both of them.
A’ja has been a problem all year and for everyone. That doesn’t stop tonight. I think she goes off again and really tries to shut down Angel Reese. If she can shut her down from grabbing so many boards, she will rattle her and get into her head.
For a prop, we’re taking all Wilson for points and rebounds. The lines will probably be around 27 points and 12 rebounds. I expect her to get both of those stat lines in this game. She is not going to let her team lose this one against a Sky team who is completely lost offenseivly without Chennedy Carter.
