Stank:
The WNBA is back, and what better way to dive into the action than by backing one of the league’s top players to hit her three-point prop? Liberty star Breanna Stewart’s prop opened at 1.5, and I’m all in. Facing the Sparks in Los Angeles, who are known for conceding threes to opposing forwards, Stewart is set for a big game.
This will be Stewart’s third matchup against the Sparks this season. In their latest game, she hit three three-pointers on nine attempts, and in the previous game, she was one for three from deep.
So far this season, Stewart is averaging 1.0 made threes on 4.2 attempts per game. Despite averaging under the prop number, I expect Stewart to come out strong. Excluding the WNBA All-Star game, she’s gone four straight regular season games without a three. If she gets four attempts, we should be in great shape.
Bridget Carleton Over 2.5 Made Threes (+100)
Odds are courtesy of BetOnline, a longtime fixture among the top online sports betting sites. Check out our BetOnline sportsbook review, then bag a big bonus (100% if your first deposit is with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or another cryptocurrency) to bet on Thursday’s WNBA games
Stank:
I’ve had this game circled for weeks.
In Bridget Carleton’s last game before the Olympic break, she struggled, hitting only three of twelve three-pointers against Atlanta and barely surpassing her prop in the final minutes. Given her shooting prowess, this game against Washington—one of the league’s bottom four defenses—seems like the perfect bounce-back spot.
This will be the second time Carleton faces Washington this season; in their first matchup, she shot three of eight from deep. The 27-year-old forward is averaging 2.3 made threes per game on 5.2 attempts this season, exceeding 2.5 made threes in 12 of 24 games. If she maintains a high shooting volume, we should see strong performance.
