The juggernaut that is the Las Vegas Aces take on the Atlanta Dream at the Gateway Center Arena in GA. Las Vegas is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Sparks, their 1st home loss of the season.
A’ja Wilson did her job with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Her cast of 3 ladies of Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young under performed.
Despite the loss, the Aces are still 8-2 in their last 10 games. They’re also 12-3 on the road this year. We all know that they’re good, I don’t need to tell you.
Atlanta just snapped a 3-game losing streak with a win against the Sky Friday night. Although the win, they are 4-6 in their last 10 games.
The Dreams leading scorer Rhyne Howard missed the last 6 and half minutes of the game vs the Sky due to a nose injury. She did end up returning to the game. Cheyenne Parker had a career high 29 points and Allisha Gray contributed with 20 points to get the victory.
These 2 teams have met twice this month already resulting in 2 blowout wins by the Aces. They won both games by 21 points which is strange and cool at the same time.
The Aces are going to want to rebound after that bad loss. It was completely out of character for them, and they’ll make sure to show everyone that.
Las Vegas leads the league in points per game with 93.1 and field goal percentage shooting 49%. They are 2nd in pace right behind the Dream. Other than pace and offensive rebounds, the Dream are out matched.
Wilson has been on a roll the last 5 games. She has had minimum 20+ points and 9+ rebounds in each game. This stretch of playing at this time of the year is adding to her MVP campaign as she’ll try to go back-to-back.

Las Vegas Aces vs Atlanta Dream Predictions and Picks
Pick: Las Vegas Aces -15.5 (-110)
Vegas is going to want a win in this game, and they will. It should be a layup for them already beating the Dream 3 times this season.
Expect Plum, Young and Gray all look to bounce back to their season averages. Gray will keep dishing the ball and Plum will shoot 3’s. Look for her to shoot much better as she went 2 for 7 last game.
This is a perfect bounce back spot for the Aces to get back on track. Not that they’re playing bad, but they were embarrassed by a lower tier team and that won’t sit well with them.
The last game that they lost was the Commissioners Cup and they came back and won their next game by 13 points. This should be an easy task for them.
Player Prop: A’ja Wilson O20.5 Points (-113)
As mentioned before, A’ja has been in demon mode the last 5 games. She has hit this line in her last 5 games and in her last 9 out of 11 games.
During this 5-game stretch and this year, she is shooting a remarkable 53.5% from the field. She is taking a lot of high percentage shots in the paint for quick points.
She will be a tough task for Cheyenne Parker and Nia Coffey to handle. They have already shown they struggle against Wilson this season.
It’s hard not to bet on her at this point. She’s continuing to lead this Aces team again to another championship run.
