On Tuesday night, the Dallas Wings (15-11) got back to their winning ways with a solid W vs the Storm. They will look to continue the momentum at home tonight vs the Chicago Sky (10-15) in the first game of a back-to-back.
The Wings have won their last 7 out of 10 games and are 9-3 at home this season. They are playing for the 2nd seed in the Western Conference now that the Aces have clinched a playoff berth and will most likely be the 1st seed.
Chicago on the other hand is 2nd to last in the Eastern Conference. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games and are 5-6 on the road this season. They have struggled this season on both sides of the ball, ranking in the bottom of most offensive and defensive categories.
Both teams met in late May where Chicago got the win by 6-points. Since then, the Wings have been the much better team, so this should be an interesting game.
Can the Sky keep it close, or will the Wings hand out a beat down?
This Wings offense has been a beast this year. They rank 3rd in the league with 85.8 points per game and 1st in the league in rebounds, grabbing 40 per game.
Arike Ogunbowale leads the team with 21.8 points per game. Satou Sabally has been a huge piece of this team averaging 17 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
Natasha Howard and Teaira McCowan are also huge passes. Both ladies are averaging 9 rebounds per game. These 2 along with Sabally are the reason this team leads the league in boards. All 3 are great player prop looks, but we’ll get into that later.

Chicago Sky vs Dallas Wings Predictions and Picks
Pick: Wings -8.5 (-108)
I really enjoy following this Wings team. They have great chemistry and players who can play both sides of the ball. They are also the better and not just on paper.
This Sky team hasn’t played since Sunday, so they’ll be rested. They may be rested, but they also could have a little rust. The Wings just played Wednesday night and should be in good shape.
Crashing the boards are what the Wings do best and expect them to keep it up. Having those 3 ladies is really a difference maker, especially on offense. Dallas ranks 1st in offensive rebounds per game and is a big part of why they are 3rd in points per game.
I like the Wings all around. I don’t think this Sky team will keep up with them at this point in the season. The Wings are going to play to protect that 2nd seed for as long as possible.
This line came out right around where I thought it would be, somewhere between 7-10. I expect the Wings to take this game by 10+ points.
Player Prop: Arike Ogunbowale O21.5 Points (-128)
Arike has been playing unbelievably. She has had 25+ points in 4 of her last 6 games and she’s shooting 41.7% from the field in those last 6.
She has been on fire from behind the arch. She has had 4+ 3-pointers in 5 of her last 6 games. She has also been shooting 35% from three in the last 6 games.
She’s had 27 points last game and has hit this line in her like 4 out of 6 games. She had 21 points on their first matchup this year.
Whether it’s Kahleah Copper or Marina Mabrey guarding Ogunbowale, they are going to have their hands full. Expect Arike to be shoot a lot and I think we cover this line with no problem.
