The Group Stage of EURO 2024 is over and we have 16 teams advancing to the knockout rounds. The EURO 2024 Bracket is set and teams know their remaining paths to lift the trophy. Now all they have to do is survive and advance. The Round of 16 matchups are set with play resuming on Saturday, June 29th.
Let’s take a look at the bracket and the updated betting odds to win EURO 2024.
EURO 2024 Bracket
The Strong Side
This bracket is wild. Immediately looking at the left side, we see a quarterfinal matchup between France and Belgium, who rank 2nd and 3rd in the world. That match could have easily been the EURO 2024 Final. The rest of that side has plenty of other powerhouse teams as well, as France or Belgium will likely face 6th ranked Portugal in the Quarterfinals, assuming they beat Slovenia, who are playing in their first EURO Round of 16 ever, and their first EURO since 2000.
Above them we have Spain vs Georgia, who miraculously beat Portugal and advanced to the knockout round, as well as Germany vs Denmark, which will certainly be a test for the 16th ranked hosts playing the 21st ranked Danes. Ultimately, the left side of the bracket hosts 4 Top 10 teams and 6 within the Top 20 of the World.
The “Easy” Side
Now, the other side. Romania ended up winning their group, and the reward for the 47th ranked team? A date with the 7th ranked Dutch, who know they have a cake walk into the Semifinals. I firmly side with the Dutch in that match, and I would also like them in a revenge game against Austria, assuming the Group Winner gets past Turkey.
Lastly, we have England playing 45th ranked Slovakia who advanced as the 3rd seed in their Group, whom all finished with 4 points. Assuming the English don’t mess things up, they will face the winner of Switzerland vs Italy. I am extremely excited for this opening matchup of the EURO Round of 16, as the 19th ranked Swiss are eager to take on 10th ranked defending EURO Champions.
We are in for some exciting matches over the next couple of weeks. Let’s look at the updated betting odds to win the whole thing!

EURO 2024 Bracket Predictions
You guys can check me here if you want, but in my EURO 2024 Preview, I said there were three teams I liked are early future winners.
- England (+300) now (+350)
- Spain (+800) now (+450)
- Netherlands (+1800) now (+1200)
I stand by my predictions from early, as I think Spain lifts the cup after beating the Netherlands 2-1 in 90 minutes.
Here is a rundown of how I see the bracket going, generally speaking, and with plenty of assumptions.
EURO 2024 Bracket Predictions
I see Spain and Germany handling business, but not without a Danish fight, with Spain getting the best of our hosts and advancing to the Semifinals. For the bottom of the left side of the bracket, I see the Portuguese advancing with ease, while France and Belgium is up in the air. I lean slightly more with France, because of the problems Belgium had in Group Stage. I think Portugal and Ronaldo get the best of Kylian Mbappe and set a date with Spain in the Semis, where I trust the Spanish to get it done.
As for the “weaker” side of the bracket, give me the Netherlands and Austria to face off in the Quarterfinals, with the Dutch securing revenge. I see England beating Slovakia, but losing to either Switzerland or Italy in the Quarterfinals. England has not been impressive, their manager is all over the place, and ultimately I think both the Swiss and Italians are playing better soccer. This year, it is not coming home.
I slightly lean with the Swiss over Italy, as I thought they were more impressive in the Group Stage. Regardless, I see the Swiss or Italy beating England before losing to the Dutch in the Semifinals. The Netherlands played in a really tough group, got out of their alive, and now are primed and ready to make a EURO run. I think they have a very solid back line that can get them far in this bracket.
Like I said, Spain has been my champion from the beginning, and they look like the best team in the EURO so far, so why stop backing them now?
