Tuesday, August 30
Crystal Palace vs. Brentford
Two London clubs who are expected to be pushing for a top-10 finish this season meet at Selhurst Park.
Brentford boasts that impressive win over Manchester United earlier this month, but that remains the Bees’ only victory, with two draws and a defeat making up their form.
The home team has two defeats, a draw and a win, and we see both sides cancelling each other out here.
Back the draw and be happy on the fence. Palace is a strong team at home, but they’ll host a Bees team who are buzzing with confidence.
Crystal Palace vs. Brentford Prediction: Draw
Crystal Palace vs. Brentford Betting Tip: Draw (-230)
Fulham vs. Brighton
This game won’t feature too highly on most football fan’s watch-list, but it promises to be an entertaining clash at Craven Cottage in London.
Fulham was promoted from the Championship last season and was unbeaten in their first three, taking five points from nine but were beaten by Arsenal at the weekend.
The Cottagers face a Brighton side sitting in fourth with an unbeaten record of three wins and a draw.
Play both teams to score here and enjoy the show.
Fulham vs. Brighton Prediction: Brighton to win
Fulham vs. Brighton Betting Tip: Both teams to score (-124)
Southampton vs. Chelsea
The Saints have struggled for consistency this season and can be found down in 13th, having taken four points from their first four games.
They lost 1-0 to Manchester United at the weekend and now face the might of Chelsea.
The Blues are sixth and arrive fresh on the back of a hard-fought 2-1 win over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge. The Saints are capable of scoring, but I’d want to see an improvement before backing them to win in London.
Southampton vs. Chelsea Prediction: Chelsea to win
Southampton vs. Chelsea Betting Tip: Chelsea win (-160)
Leeds vs. Everton
Expect to see an exciting 90 minutes of Premier League action at Elland Road. Leeds is entertaining in attack but always suspect at the back, while Everton struggles to keep clean sheets.
This match has goals written all over it, and we’re happy to play the BTTS market and enjoy the game. Follow our thinking, and you can cheer on every goal, knowing the winning team won’t affect your bet.
Leeds vs. Everton Prediction: Leeds to win
Leeds vs. Everton Betting Tip: Both teams to score (-160)
Wednesday, August 31
Arsenal vs. Aston Villa
Arsenal has started the season as the team to beat, with the Londoners on top of the league with a 100% record from four starts.
Fans are beginning to get excited, but manager Mikel Arteta will be eager to keep his players grounded.
They have scored 11 goals and conceded just three, which makes them a smart bet against a struggling Aston Villa side that has lost three of four and each of their last two league starts.
Back the Gunners to win at home and turn on the style.
Arsenal vs. Aston Villa Prediction: Arsenal to win
Arsenal vs. Aston Villa Betting Tip: Arsenal win (-220)
Bournemouth vs. Wolves
Wolves are one of only three teams in the Premier League yet to win a match, and they are stuck in the relegation zone as a result.
The visitors have enjoyed success here in the past, but two draws and a pair of defeats make them difficult to trust. The Cherries are the home team but haven’t been performing too much better, winning their debut then losing the next three.
We are struggling to make a case for either team being good enough to deserve the points. Back the draw, but there are better options to pick from with the other matches.
Bournemouth vs. Wolves Prediction: Draw
Bournemouth vs. Wolves Betting Tip: Draw (+230)
Manchester City vs. Nottingham Forest
The champions are back at the Etihad Stadium, where they will enjoy some huge nights this season in the Premier League and Champions League.
There will be bigger fish to fry than a Nottingham Forest side that was struggling in the Championship not too long ago, but Pep Guardiola’s men must guard against complacency.
This will be an entertaining match, but we’re backing a solid home win. When Man City are at home, and they turn on the style, they are capable of killing off any opponent, so we are worried about the fate of Forest.
Man City vs. Nottingham Forest Prediction: Man City to win
Man City vs. Nottingham Forest Betting Tip: Man City to win to nil (-150 at Bovada Sportsbook)
West Ham vs. Tottenham
What a game we have ahead of us here as two sides from London go head-to-head in a battle over three vital Premier League points.
West Ham United was pushing for a Champions League place last season before missing out on the top four, but they have started this campaign by losing each of their first three games and then winning last time.
Tottenham is flying with 10 points on the board and an unbeaten record. They are keeping pace with the early leaders and will show their Premier League title credentials with an away win in Stratford.
West Ham vs. Tottenham Prediction: Tottenham to win
West Ham vs. Tottenham Betting Tip: Tottenham win (-105)
Liverpool vs. Newcastle
There are always fireworks when these sides meet, and we’re backing more of the same again.
Take Liverpool to win this match, but we fancy more goals and will add that to our prediction in the hope of landing better odds.
This is the type of game Mo Salah will love as he’s expected to receive plenty of service around the box.
Liverpool vs. Newcastle Prediction: Liverpool to win
Liverpool vs. Newcastle Betting Tip: Liverpool win and & BTTS (+155)
Thursday, September 1
Leicester City vs. Manchester United
The Foxes are rooted to the foot of the Premier League table and remain winless in their opening four games, drawing one then losing the next three.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is beginning to feel the pressure and knows circumstances must improve if he’s to avoid losing his job.
Cue a United side that lost their first two but has won their last two and appears to be finding their feet.
An away win would push United up the table, and we expect them to continue their improvement with another useful three points.
Leicester City vs. Man United Prediction: Man United to win
Leicester City vs. Man United Betting Tip: Man United win (+110)
