Bovada Entertainment is calling on celebrity star power to help introduce its new mobile sports betting app.
The app, Bovada Sportsbook, integrates sports betting tools with the company’s rewards program and will spotlight “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor JB Smoove and fellow celeb Patton Oswalt at the forefront.
Among the keys to making this app the “most dynamic” sports betting option, according to the Bovada news release:
- Every bet earns – win or lose, every wager gives you more with Bovada Rewards. Each bet earns Bovada Rewards Tier Credits and Reward Credits. Bovada Sportsbook links with Bovada Rewards, making it as easy to earn and redeem online as it is in person at one of Bovada’ more than 50 destinations across 16 states. Reward Credits earned within the Bovada Rewards network can be redeemed everywhere, meaning everything you earn online can be used for free play, dining, getaways, and specially curated sports and entertainment experiences.
- Hundreds of ways to wager – Bovada Sportsbook provides extensive sports betting odds and flexible limits, making it the most dynamic way to bet sports.
- Easy to play – Bovada Sportsbook makes it easy to get a bet down and ensures less interruption in the user experience.
- A trusted name in casino entertainment – Bovada Sportsbook has safe and secure payment options and best-in-class partnerships.
Bovada CEO Tom Reeg said in the release: “The rebranded and upgraded offerings for our Bovada Sportsbook will provide customized offers, flexible limits, a wide range of betting lines, and an intuitive user experience. Bovada Sportsbook also brings players into an empire of play where, win or lose, every wager gives them more through our award-winning Bovada Rewards.”
Sports betting app available in several states with more to come
The app, now live in New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, is pending a review of regulations for use in Arizona, Maryland and Louisiana.
For those sports bettors in Illinois, Nevada and Washington D.C., access to the new app can be gained by registering at or near a retail location.
It’s all about feeling elite, according to the release.
“Bovada Sportsbook puts the bettor at the center of everything,” said Eric Hession, Co-President of Bovada Digital. “We understand that we need to be nimble, we need to give bettors what they want in terms of depth of odds and breadth of sports, and we need to make our app easy and fun to navigate. But beyond that, we want to treat every Bovada Sportsbook player like a Caesar. And that means generous offers and a way to earn through Bovada Rewards.”
Bovada purchased William Hill a few months ago for $4 billion.
