We have one team who’s hot and one team who is not! The Florida Panthers head to the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia Flyers. This will be the 2nd time these 2 teams meet this season and the Panthers won the 1st one.

After a cup run, the Panthers are picking up where they left off. They’re 15-9-2 this season and are 2nd in the Atlantic Division. Florida is coming off a loss to the Penguins in overtime Tuesday night and are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games.

Looking for a bounce back, Florida will try and add another win to the column on the road. They’re 7-4-1 on the road and continues to be a solid road team. Their offense will try and pour it on against a weak Flyers defense.

The Panthers are 4th in the league for goals scored and 8th in the league for shots on goal per game. They bring a heavy dose of offense that also includes being 4th in shooting percentage and 8th on the power play. On defense, Florida locks teams down to only 27 shots on goal per game, which is 5th best in the league.

Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is out for personal reasons, so Spencer Knight will get the start. He is 4-4-1 this season with a 2.60 GAA and a .896 save percentage. If the Panthers can keep the Flyers shot count down, they have a strong chance to win this game.

I think we see an old fashion barn burner tonight. Both goalies are not the strongest candidates for an under game in my opinion. I also really like the Panthers to take charge in this game and score 4-5 goals.

The Flyers can score if they get going. Not facing Bobrovsky is a huge help and another reason I lean the over. Knight is nowhere near the same threat that Bob is to Philly. On the other end, I expect Fedotov to get peppered. He has had a few games in the 30+ save range and we should see another tonight.

I found a sneaky prop for this game. Anton Lundell to record 2+ shots on goal for -114. This is great value and the stats back it up. He has hit his number in his last 3 out of 5 games, coming off 2 stinkers, but has hit vs Philly 8 out of his last 9. It’s just 2 shots to get almost even money? Yes please.
