History could be made today on Long Island. Alex Ovechkin will be going for the all-time goal scorer record vs the Islanders. Besides that, there is a pretty decent slate in front of us. Let’s check out a few games and get into 3 Player Prop Picks for tonight.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year as we approach the playoffs. The race in the Eastern Conference is as tight as it gets with 5 teams playing for the 2nd Wild Card position. It is surprising, but none of the teams in the East have been eliminated yet.
We have 2 guys whose teams are in the hunt for the players and just a goat who’s going to goat per usual. The goat’s team hasn’t been eliminated yet but are right on the verge of it. Let’s get into the picks.

The Penguins haven’t been eliminated yet, but they are on the brink of it. They sit 9 points out of the 2nd Wild Card spot in the East, so all they can do it win. Pittsburgh comes into this game off a big win over the Stars yesterday.
We’re going to the captain, the legend and the goat himself. Sidney Crosby has had an incredible career, and we all have to wonder if we’re seeing his last games. But until then, we’re going to enjoy betting on him!
We’re taking him for 2 or more points today for +182. The kid is coming off a 4-point game yesterday and absolutely crushes the Blackhawks. He had 2 points vs them in his last game they played and has hit the mark in 2 out of his last 4 games vs Chicago. Crosby is also on a 1o game point streak which is always nice.

Samoskevich has taken off in his 1st full year in the show. He has 14 goals and 15 assists in 67 games this season. The kid really showed he can play, earning time on the top 2 lines at different points this season.
Being on those top lines led to his progression. He has a bright future with a great team, and they are going back to the playoffs. The defending champs went ahead and got Brad Marchand at the trading deadline and should be getting Matthew Tkachuk come playoff time.
This will out Samoskevich back down to the 3rd line, but he’ll still get plenty of playing time. The sportsbooks are giving us good value for a guy whose recorded a point in 2 of his last 3 games and 3 of his last 5 games. He tends to hit every other game and is coming off a miss, which I like. Samoskevich also recorded a point in his last game vs Detroit.

Lastly, we head to Columbus, who is sitting 6 points out of the 2nd Wild Card spot in the East. This team has been playing off emotion all season with the loss of Johnny Gaudreau but are starting to let it slip. One guy they missed that is now back is their captain, Boone Jenner.
We’re getting good value on a guy who has scored 6 goals in his last 7 games. Jenner has also scored in 5 straight games vs the Senators, including 2 straight games in Ottawa. Also on the road, Jenner has scored in 3 out of his last 4 games.
Columbus needs him to play like he has if they’re going to have a chance to make the playoffs. Ottawa ranks 15th in the league for goals allowed to the forward position. Jenner has been playing great after returning from a mid-season injury.
