The Kings are currently on a three-game winning streak after Vladislav Gavrikov’s overtime winner led them to Saturday’s 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Having said that, the Canucks have also won three games in a row as they come off a 4-2 victory against the Calgary Flames that saw Nils Hoglander light the lamp twice.

Kings vs Canucks NHL Prediction & Pick (3/25): Vancouver Gets Revenge
Both of these Pacific Division clubs have been among the NHL’s best throughout March. Since March 3, the Canucks rank third in the league with an 83.3% winning percentage (7-1-1) while the Kings sit fifth with a 68.2% success rate (7-3-1). The month-long success has resulted in Vancouver sitting first in the division with 98 points while Los Angeles is third with 85.
Having said that, this is only the third matchup of the 2023-24 campaign between these rivals. The Kings won in a 5-1 blowout at Rogers Arena on Feb. 29 before the Canucks got some revenge with a 2-1 OT victory at crypto.com Arena less than a week later.
The win wasn’t anything new for the Canucks, who’ve now won 10 of their last 14 meetings with the Kings. Vancouver did lose three straight games against Los Angeles before the last win, though, leaving time to tell if it was a fluke or a sign that things are improving for the better.
The Canucks are 10-4 SU in their last 14 matchups with the Kings. Will that trend continue tonight?
Even though Vancouver has been one of the NHL’s best teams throughout the year, it’s Los Angeles that holds the special teams advantage tonight. The Kings rank 12th and first on the power play and penalty kill, respectively, while the Canucks sit 13th and 15th in that regard.
At the same time, it’s worth noting that Los Angeles has only killed seven of its last 11 penalties (63.6%) while Vancouver is 16-for-18 (88.9%) on the PK across their last nine games.
We’ll see which version of David Rittich shows up between the pipes for the Kings tonight. On one hand, the 31-year-old netminder has two shutout wins in his last three starts. On the other hand, he’s 3-3-1 with a 3.54 goals-against average and .886 save percentage in his last eight road games.
Meanwhile, the Canucks hope that Casey DeSmith remains solid as Thatcher Demko continues to miss time with a knee injury. DeSmith has been solid since Demko went down, backstopping his way to a 3-1-1 record with a 2.00 GAA and .913 SV% in six appearances.
"This is probably the best I've felt about my game, personally.”
In nearly 14 periods since replacing an injured Thatcher Demko, fill-in starter Casey DeSmith has stopped 91.2 per cent of shots and the Canucks are 3-1-1. (@imacSportsnet) https://t.co/LznlynAXmg

In a game that I could see going either way, I’m taking the Canucks to win. They’ve had the Kings’ number for some time now and will be hungry to win after losing at Rogers Arena nearly one month ago. If Rittich’s road struggles continue, the Canucks have a good shot at taking an early lead and riding it to victory.
With that being said, let’s stick to the Canucks on the moneyline, too. There’s some decent value to be had at -124 odds. It’s also hard to go with the puck line considering that the last meeting between these clubs ended in overtime.

Best Kings vs Canucks NHL Player Prop (3/25)
When it comes to a Kings vs. Canucks player prop I like, we’re going with J.T. Miller to record over 2.5 shots on goal.
Miller has been great at general offensive opportunities lately, averaging 3.2 shots across his last 23 games. The 31-year-old sniper finished with the Over 14 times during that stretch, which includes coming through on it in each of his last three outings.
On top of that, Miller has also tallied three-plus SOG in each of his last four meetings with the Kings. In other words, I’d be shocked if he doesn’t finish with at least a trio of shots this evening.
Best Kings vs Canucks Prop Bet: J.T. Miller o2.5 Shots on Goal (-103)
