The Bruins shocked the hockey world with a massive 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1. Florida struggled to look competitive as five different Boston players scored while Jeremy Swayman was near-perfect, stopping all but one of the 39 shots he faced.
Will Boston take further control with another win tonight? Or will Florida erase the deficit before the series shifts to TD Garden?
Let’s answer those questions while exploring some of the top Bruins vs. Panthers betting opportunities by getting into my Game 2 predictions and best bets.

Bruins vs Panthers NHL Game 2 Predictions & Pick (5/8)
After struggling to score in the last few games against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Bruins finally rediscovered their offensive spark in Game 1. The five goals that Boston scored marked the first time that the club reached that number since scoring five in the first game of the 2023-24 postseason.
What’s impressive is that it wasn’t as if the Bruins only received goals from their top players. Sure Jake DeBrusk and Morgan Geekie both scored, but Justin Brazeau even found the back of the net with his first playoff goal. Hell, defensemen Mason Lohrei and Brandon Carlo even got in on the action.
It helps that Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky was off his game, allowing four goals on just 28 shots. It’s a small sample size, but the Russian netminder is now only 0-3-2 with a 3.41 goals-against average and .868 save percentage in his last five games against the Bruins. In fact, he’s only won two of his last eight trips to Boston.
Sergei Bobrovsky has had no luck in his recent meetings against the Bruins.
Meanwhile, the Panthers must worry about getting their offense back on track against the league’s hottest goalie. Jeremy Swayman has been nothing short of a brick wall for the Bruins, playing to an NHL-best .955 SV% with a 1.42 GAA across seven postseason starts.
Furthermore, each of Swayman’s appearances has qualified as a quality start, meaning he’s been keeping the Bruins in every game they’ve played.
I don’t know if Swayman can keep up his play forever, but Stanley Cups have been one because of a red-hot goaltender before. If he continues to play at this level, most teams will struggle to solve the Bruins.
Having said that, I’m taking Florida to win tonight. The Bruins shouldn’t be underestimated, but I have a tough time imagining the Panthers going 0-2 at home before the series shifts to Boston. I also fully expect Bobrovsky to have a bounce-back showcase, so let’s also back the Under on the 5.5-goal total. If he and Swayman play to their potential, we won’t see much offense at Amerant Bank Arena.

Best Bruins vs Panthers NHL Game 2 Player Prop (5/6)
Just as Creed once sang, “Hello, my friend, we meet again.” In other words, it’s time to revisit Jake DeBrusk by backing him to record at least three shots on goal (+141) for the best Bruins vs. Panthers Game 2 prop.
Even though the odds aren’t in his favor, don’t ignore this prop. DeBrusk is averaging 3.3 shots on goal in his last three games while making good on this prop each time. If that isn’t convincing enough, the veteran forward also finished with at least a trio of SOG in two of his last three trips to Amerant Bank Arena.
With the Panthers allowing the 11th-most SOG to right rings this season, it’s clear that a sprinkle on this DeBrusk-related prop is worth it.
Best Bruins vs Panthers Prop Bet: Jake DeBrusk to Record 3+ SOG (+141)
