Steelers vs Broncos NFL Week 2 Predictions & Picks (9/15)
These teams experienced opposite starts to the 2024 NFL season last week.
The Steelers opened the campaign with a hard-fought 18-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Pittsburgh’s defense limited Atlanta to just 226 total yards while producing three turnovers as all 18 of the former’s points came off of field goals courtesy of kicker Chris Boswell.
Meanwhile, the Broncos are looking to bounce back following a 26-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Denver led by four points at halftime but couldn’t hold on as it was outscored 17-7 by Seattle in the second half. Even then, the Broncos’ final touchdown came with just two minutes remaining.
On one hand, the Broncos could bounce back given that they’re 5-1 SU in their last six home games against the Steelers. On the other hand, Denver has lost back-to-back matchups against Pittsburgh, having not defeated the latter since the 2018 season.
Will the Broncos find a way to defeat the Steelers for the first time in six years?
If Pittsburgh’s defense can replicate last week’s performance, Denver will struggle offensively. The Steelers forced two interceptions and a fumble last week and now get to face Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix, who went 26-of-42 for only 138 passing yards and two INTs.
Additionally, the Broncos’ defense can’t be trusted after it allowed the Seahawks to average 5.1 yards per play across 15 drives. Denver also allowed 146 rushing yards and two TDs on 33 carries, so I wouldn’t be shocked if the Steelers allow QB Justin Fields and RB Najee Harris to run the ball as often as possible.
Even with the Broncos having the home-field advantage, I see the Steelers winning in Week 2. Pittsburgh’s defense played well last week and I predict that the offense will pick up the pace on Sunday after Denver struggled to stop Seattle from moving the ball.
As for the best game bet, I’ll stick with the Steelers on the spread considering that the Broncos are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven Week 2 matchups.

Best Steelers vs Broncos NFL Week 2 Player Prop
A Najee Harris anytime touchdown (+160) is, by far, the most appealing Steelers vs. Broncos prop bet of the week.
Harris, 26, is looking to bounce back after failing to get anything going against the Falcons last week. The good news is that he’s up against the Broncos, who allowed Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III to rush for 103 yards and a TD on 20 carries. Furthermore, Denver also allowed Zach Charbonnet — Seattle’s RB2 — to score a 30-yard TD reception during the third quarter.
Considering how Harris has four TDs in his last five games dating back to the 2023 campaign, I feel confident that he’ll find the end zone on Sunday.
Best Steelers vs. Broncos Prop Bet: Najee Harris Anytime Touchdown (+160)
