See Picks & Statistics For The GameTwo of the hottest teams in the NFL, and next door neighbors, face off this Sunday as the Baltimore Ravens host the Washington Commanders. We get a battle of mobile QBs are Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels go head to head for the first time of Daniels’ rookie season. These two are the top 2 QBs in terms of rushing yards this season, as Daniels has ran for 300 and Jackson for 363, so can these defenses figure out a way to contain their opponent?
Like I said, both teams are heating up.
After losing in Week 1 to Tampa Bay, in his first ever NFL start, Jayden Daniels has turned things around. The Commanders have won 4 straight games, including a big win in Cincinnati, but this will certainly be their biggest test to date. They face Carolina next week, so their full focus should be finding a way to pull off this huge road upset.
As for the Ravens, they are also on a heater. After losing a game they arguably should’ve won to the Chiefs, the Ravens lost their home opener to the Raiders. Two stinkers to start. Since then, they’ve been rock solid. In the past three weeks, the Ravens have beat the Cowboys on the road, crushed the Bills at home, and took down the Bengals in Cincy as well. They are scoring nearly 35 points per game in those wins, and are holding their opponents to about 24.
Will they be able to slow down Daniels and the Commanders? Or will the rookie QB beat the Ravens in their own nest?

Can Daniels Lead Commanders to a Big Road Upset?
We are in for a thriller. Both QBs are going to put on an absolute show, and I expect them both to have quite the game through the air and on the ground. Now, let’s find some bets.
The Ravens have been involved in some very high scoring contests. Besides holding the Bills to just 10 points, the Ravens have allowed 29 points per game in the other 4 contests. They are winning by outscoring their opponents, and that may be the recipe for success against Washington. While their defense has been solid the last couple of weeks, allowing just 27 total points, it was to the Cardinals and the Browns. Not very prolific offenses in my eyes. But the Commanders are having no problem scoring points.
They scored 20 and 21 the first two weeks, but have really exploded since. Washington scored 38 against the Bengals, 42 against the Cardinals, and 34 against the Browns. While my gut wants to jump on this over, I’ve got to be a bit weary. If anyone knows how to contain a mobile defense, it’s the Ravens. That’s their whole offense. Slowing down Daniels and keeping him in the pocket will certainly be priority for the Baltimore defense. I see them scheming successfully against the rookie QB, disrupting his flow, and taking him completely out of rhythm. This could be a long day at the office for the Commanders offense.
However, I am backing a Commanders player to score for us.

Commanders vs Ravens Prediction: Ravens Win, Commanders Cover, Over 51.5
Best Bet: Austin Seibert Over 1.5 Field Goals (-105) BetOnline
Look, I kind of backed the over in this game, because I do think we see some points. But this is how I decided to play this one. Let me explain.
Not only is Mr. Seibert a perfect 12/12 on field goals this year, he is also 13/13 on extra points. The dude has not missed a kick. Washington also leads the league in Red Zone trips per game at 4.6, but only finds the end zone 56% of the time. Baltimore ranks Top 10 in RZ trips allowed per game, but doesn’t do too well in stopping opponents once they are there. Like I mentioned earlier, I think they are able to slow down Daniels and the entire Washington offense, forcing them to settle for 3 points on more than one occasion this weekend.
It may be a little unorthodox and not as sexy as some other props, but I think Seibert will get his chances and knock them down on Sunday.
