Both the Vikings and the Lions have recorded 14 wins this season, marking the first time in NFL history we’re seeing TWO 14-win teams in the same division.
It’s crazy to think that one of these teams will be playing in a road playoff game come next week. With so much on the line today, you can expect both teams to come out aggressively to finish the regular season.

Vikings vs. Lions Analysis & Breakdown
NFC North
This game between the Lions and the Vikings determines so much today. Not only is the #1 Seed in the NFC on the line, but the division title will also go to the winner of tonight’s game. The winner of tonight’s game will get the extra week off heading into the playoffs and they’ll get home field throughout the post-season.
This marks the first time a singular division has had three 10-win teams, in addition to two 14-win teams. The NFC North was the best division in football this year and it’s a shame two of these teams will be on the road to start the playoffs.
Tonight’s game determines the best team in the NFC North and the best team in the NFC. With so much on the line today, expect both teams to pull out all the stops. The last time these two teams met, it came down to the last play of the game; the Lions taking home the win on a game winning field goal.
Jahmyr Gibbs o33.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The Lions lost David Montgomery about 3 weeks ago now and everyone was sent into a panic. Jahmyr Gibbs has been great for the Lions but the presence of Monty was huge in this backfield. Well, here we are 3 weeks later and Jahmyr Gibbs has done MORE than just hold down the fort.
Over the last 2 games, Gibbs has recorded 317 total yards from scrimmage, he’s scored 2 touchdowns and he’s caught 4 passes in back to back games. He’s averaging almost 7.5 yards per touch and he’s been the center of this Lions offense.
Gibbs has recorded 4+ targets in 5 straight games, clearing this line in 3 of the 5 games and recording 4+ receptions in 4 of the 5 games. The Vikings rank 30th in pass yards allowed this year and Gibbs recorded 4 catches for 44 yards against this same Vikings defense.
Look for the Lions to still look to involve Gibbs early and often, working him into space against this blitz heavy Vikings defense.
Jahmyr Gibbs o33.5 Receing Yards (-110)

Jordan Addison Anytime Touchdown (+125)
Jordan Addison has been a touchdown machine this year. He’s recorded 10 touchdowns this year, currently tied with Justin Jefferson for the team lead. Over the L6 weeks, Addison’s seen 13 red zone targets and he’s recorded 6 touchdowns in his last 7 games.
Earlier this season Addison had 3 catches on 4 targets for 66 yards against this Lions team, Darnold threw just 1 touchdown and the Vikings lost by 2 points. Tonight the Vikings are looking to lock up the #1 seed and they’ll need Addison to play better than he did Week 7.
