Amazon Prime is hosting Thursday Night Football once against as the New York Giants head West to take on the San Francisco 49ers.
Through two weeks of the NFL season, this game looks like it could get very ugly.
The Giants are 1-1, after starting the season being outscored 60-0 through six quarters. New York got skunked by the Cowboys, but then pulled off an incredible comeback win on the road in Arizona against the Cardinals.
However now they face another NFC opponent capable of winning it all just like Dallas, the Niners.
With players like McCaffery, Deebo, Aiyuk and Kittle surrounding Brock Purdy, paired with an incredible defense, it’s okay that Purdy is leading the offense.
He’s capable of getting it done, and the ceiling is very high for this Niners team.
Let’s break down this week’s edition of Thursday Night Football and talk about whether or not the Giants stand a chance.

Can Giants Contain 49ers Weapons?
Respectfully, I don’t think so. Like I said, the 49ers have Brock Purdy leading the offense.
When you have Kyle Shanahan scheming and playmakers around the QB, nearly any semi-capable quarterback will thrive.
Now, Purdy has been playing great, and I don’t want to discredit him at all. But on the flip side, I could hand the ball of the CMC and find Deebo on a bubble screen.
Purdy has made great plays down the field, but I’ve got some props of his playmakers for this game.
As far as the side of total, 10 points seems about right to me. I see the 49ers handling business but am staying away as I’m sure the Giants will find a way to back door cover late in the 4th.
With a total of 45, I don’t trust the Giants to contribute to the over at all, but I also worry the 49ers could keep the pedal on the gas a bit too long if we played under.
For that, I’ll stick to props and watch the 49ers win this one 27-17.
NFL Player Prop Bets
Deebo Samuel Over 4.5 Receptions (-115) Bovada
Through two games, Deebo leads all San Francisco pass catchers with 16 targets. He is tied with Aiyuk with 11 receptions this year, clearing this 4.5 line in both contests.
He caught 5/7 targets in Week 1, and 6/9 in Week 2. The 49ers like to give Deebo the ball quickly, and let him make plays with his legs.
This results in plenty of quick screens and jet sweeps for easy receptions.
Dating back to last season, Samuel has hit this line in 10 of his L18 games, totaling 6+ catches in six of those games.
I’ll gladly bet on 5 catches from Deebo against a Giants team that can’t figure out how to stop anybody. Even in a Niners blowout, I think they dump the ball to Samuel enough for him to get these catches for us.
