1. Daniel Collins- Head of Content
I am not going to lie to you, I HATE betting the Super Bowl.
I hate betting Championship games, “Winner Take All” situations. Mostly because you can do all the research you want, dive deep into the advanced analytics and try to find as many edges as possible. But at the end of the day, it’s sports and in these special games in particular, the data simply doesn’t matter.
When I look at these types of matchups, I pick the team I trust. I use my football knowledge and listen to my gut after watching every game this season to come to my conclusion as to who I think is truly going to win this game.
And for me, it’s the Chiefs.
Daniel’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick: Chiefs ML (+115 Bovada) Get the Best Odds for this Pick at BOVADA
The X factor for me in this game will be the quarterbacks. Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be making his 4th Super Bowl appearance in his young 7 year NFL career, while 49ers Quarterback Brock Purdy will be making his Super Bowl Debut in just his 2nd season. Now, I have been a massive fan of Mr. Irrelevant all season and think he deserves every single ounce of credit for his massive part in the Niners fantastic run this year.
But I am going to take the quarterback who has been here before and got the job done, multiple times.
The Super Bowl is always a spectacle but this Sunday could be a show unlike any we have ever seen. And that’s fitting. Because, you know, What happens in Vegas is indeed supposed to stay in Vegas. This game is no exception.
Chiefs to the Moon.
Daniel’s Super Bowl Prop Bet: Taylor Swift to High Five a Member of Her Box (+100 BetOnline) Get this Bet at BETONLINE
Now, maybe this is cheating. I am not sure but I don’t care. A win is a win and this bet is hitting. My man Devon Platana wrote about this bet, which you can read about here, and I immediately bet it. So sorry I am stealing this play, Devon, but at least I gave you credit.
If you have watched any Chiefs games this season and you have not been living under a rock, you know that Pop Star Taylor Swift is dating the Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce. She will, of course, be in attendance for this game, cheering on her boyfriend as any loving partner would do.
She has already shown oodles of passion in her appearances all season at Chiefs games and in the biggest game of the football world, I am sure there will be plenty of high five worthy moments in this game.
I expect a big performance from Kelce in this game and there will be a plethora of shots of Taylor being Taylor. We only need one high five.
For plus money, this feels free.

2. Chris Adams- Horse Racing Handicapper
As someone who chooses every year to buy into the hype that the Vikings have a shot, the soundness of my football decision making may be heavily in question. So for my Super Bowl bets I’m leaning into what I know.
Chris’ Super Bowl 58 Game Pick: Chiefs ML (+115 Bovada)
The most disheartening thing about Fierceness and his latest Kentucky Derby prep was that he locked eye to eye with his competition and folded like a cheap lawn chair. I can’t bet a Derby horse that doesn’t have the competitive fire to look a horse in the eye and bury them. The anti-Fierceness, well that’s Patrick Mahomes. He just wins. On the road, as a dog, he wins and gets the money.
Chris’ Super Bowl Prop Bet: First Score- Chiefs TD (+195 Bovada)
They’re playing the game on turf, but I’m treating it like a dirt race. I want the horse who gets early position going forward. Set the pace and make them prove they can come get you. The 49ers have yet to score in the first quarter of the playoffs against two inexperienced postseason teams. I am looking for KC to get a flyer out of the gate and put open lengths on San Fran early to make them chase the game to the wire.
Bonus Prop: Which Ab InBev Ad Will Run First? Budweiser (+225 BetUS)
I mean c’mon, is the horse guy really going to bet against the Clydesdales?

3. Devon Platana- Multi-Sport Contributor
When it comes to championship matchups, I tend to find myself going against the grain. There’s just something satisfying to me about the popular pick coming up short to me. With all the hype and love that people are giving a Chiefs upset, I find myself siding with the 49ers in Vegas.
Devon’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick: 49ers ML (-125 Bovada)
I understand that the Chiefs have been to the Super Bowl three times and won it twice since 2019. I understand that Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback on the planet. I understand that the Swifties are likely doing some kind of ritual to give Travis Kelce a boost at Allegiant Stadium.
But I also understand that the 49ers are the deeper team here and people seem to be forgetting that. You can also point to Brock Purdy having less experience than Mahomes, but let’s also remember that Tom Brady was only in his second NFL season when he defeated two-time NFL MVP Kurt Warner at Super Bowl XXXVI. I’m by no means saying that Purdy is the second coming of Brady, but I am saying that experience isn’t always everything.
Devon’s Super Bowl Prop Bet: Length of National Anthem — Under 86.5 Seconds (+140 BetOnline)
Considering how somebody (*cough*Daniel*cough*) stole my high-five prop, I’ll take the next best thing — the Under on Reba McEntire’s national anthem length.
It’s mind-boggling to me that Under 86.5 seconds can be had at +140 odds on BetOnline. McEntire has been consistent with her national anthem length across the last four decades, typically clocking in at 85 or fewer seconds. In fact, a recent performance from seven years ago lasted just 81 seconds.
Although it’s possible that McEntire could lengthen her performance due to it being the Super Bowl, the value of the Under combined with her documented performances is too appealing to ignore.
4. Nate Hornung – Multisport Contributor
Alright, alright. At this point, you all know I’m the biggest Chiefs fan there is. With that being said, tail everything with caution and do your own due diligence, however, I have released the final whale of the NFL Season.
Nate’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick – Chiefs ML (+115) Bovada
This is a”down year” for the Chiefs, and they are playing for Back to Back Super Bowls. Why? Because of their stellar defensive play and Patrick “Showtime” Mahomes.
The kid is incredible in the postseason, and proved he could do it on the road this year, twice. Against the two QBs who will lead the league in MVP voting, I’ll go down with the ship as I’ve dropped a 5U bomb on the ML (responsibly).
Mahomes is the truth, and this Super Bowl will really propel him into the ranks of Montana and Brady.
Do you really think the NFL would let Taylor Swift get to the Super Bowl and not win? Can you really picture Brock Purdy hoisting the Lombardi trophy over Mahomes?
I didn’t think so.
Nate’s Super Bowl 58 Prop Bet – Will the Team Call the Coin Toss Correctly? – No (-105) BetOnline
Look, I’ve got no numbers to back this up. But this is just more of my Chief’s homerisms showing.
The 49ers won’t get the coin toss, and in turn, Mahomes and the Chiefs will defer to the 2nd half, giving San Francisco the first offensive possession.
This sets us up perfectly for a Purdy Pick Six to start the Super Bowl, and Chiefs D/ST 1st TD at (+2200).
5. Colby Marchio – Multisport Contributor
Ahh, the Big Game, a place where everyone comes together as one. The Super Bowl is for everyone! People who love Sports and music are now to see 14-time Grammy Award winners. This is not your older brother’s Super Bowl, back when you would look forward to the comical commercials. Times have changed, but the love for the game has not. Here are my final plays of the NFL season.
Colby’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick – Chiefs ML (+115) Bovada
As a die-hard fan of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, I almost have to place this bet. However, I would be selling you, the reader, short if I did not give an analysis of why I still like the Chiefs in this one.
Ever since the Chiefs’ embarrassing loss to the Raiders on Christmas Day, they have been clicking on all cylinders. This playoff run has been pure poetry. The offense has not been putting up massive numbers, but they are still moving the ball. Meanwhile, their defense has never looked better; since Christmas, the Chiefs have allowed only 16.3 points per game. It makes you wonder what this team would have looked like a few years back if they had a defense like this.
The 49ers have also been struggling in the past couple of weeks. What team are you going to get this Sunday? They struggled in the first half against the Lions, and the week prior, they barely got past the Packers. It’s concerning, but they are a very well-coached team, so all of these negative comments will surely come back to bite me.
No matter what, Chiefs.
Colby’s Super Bowl 58 Prop Bet – Travis Kelce Over 73.5 Receiving Yards (-126) Bovada
Travis Kelce has been on fire during this playoff run, and I will be riding with him until the wheels fall off.
Kelce has exceeded this number in 11 of his last 12 playoff games. If you exclude the game against the Dolphins a few weeks back, he has done this in every playoff game since they last played the 49ers in the Super Bowl.
The 49ers have been giving up a ton of yards through the air this postseason. They allowed Lions’ wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and tight end Sam LaPorta to surpass this number in the conference championship. In the divisional round, Packers’ wide receiver Romeo Doubs also went over this number.
If the 49ers are going to allow their opponent’s studs to rack up yardage like this time and time again this postseason, I have to take the over.
6. Nick Zanghi – Multisport Contributor
Being a hockey and WNBA guy, football is not my strongest suit, but it’s the Super Bowl! You know I have to take a stab at it!
NZ Super Bowl 58 Game Pick – Chiefs ML (+115) Bovada
The Super Bowl for me is just a bigger game to bet on. Being the guy who doesn’t really know football, my pick isn’t based off much. I watch these big games though and observe let’s say. It seems sometimes (or a lot of the time) the penalties they call are questionable. And possibly even one sided…
Anyways, I think the Chiefs are going to win based on those last thoughts and also experience. Having the experience they have coming into this game is huge and should be what gets the job done (along with some penalties!).
NZ Super Bowl 58 Game Prop – The Octopus (+900) Bovada
I had fun with this bet last year and are going to again this year. Prop bets like this and things like guessing the Gatorade color are fun bets. If you are not familiar with the Octopus, it is when a player scores a touchdown and then scores the 2-point conversion as well.
With Odds like +900 or more, this is totally worth a sprinkle and something to sweat. You’re going to tell me you don’t think Christian McCaffery or Deebo Samuel can’t manage to pull this off?! CMC scores a touchdown, and they go right back to him to blast it home for the 2-point conversion!
Have some fun and sprinkle this with me. It’s the Super Bowl and last game of the year, so they’ll be trying to get every point!
7. Brad Blakemore – NHL/Hockey Contributor
Just because I’m the hockey contributor doesn’t mean I don’t know a thing or two about the NFL. I’ve been a diehard NFL fantasy player for nearly 15 years and am in two dynasty leagues that are 5+ years old. Between projecting the NFL draft, following fantasy player stocks all season and trying to catch as many NFL games as possible each Sunday I feel like I always have a finger on the pulse of the NFL. So let’s take a swing at two bets for the Super Bowl.
Betzky’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick – San Fransico ML (-125) Bovada
I know I’m betraying my buddy Shaggy with this pick. I know it’s hard to bet against Mahommmes and big game moments. And I know that Kelce winning the Super Bowl would be good for the NFL because he is dating someone named Taylor Swift. But I’ll take the more complete team here.
Up and down the lineup San Fransisco outmatches Kansas City besides quaterback. And Brock Purdy is no slouch. During the Lions game when the 49’ers were down in the half I texted a buddy saying “Purdy just doesn’t have that magic”. But low and behold he pulled multiple rabbits out of a hat and helped lead his team to an incredible comeback and his first Super Bowl appearance.
Betzky’s Super Bowl 58 Game Prop: Usher’s First Song: DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love (+800) on BETUS
Close your eyes. Picture the giant stage on the field. And then the sound of the “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” synth starts, and in 7 seconds Usher makes his appearance and starts singing the first verse. It just fits. The first song on a Super Bowl performance needs two things. 1. It needs to be instantly recognizable and 2. it needs to be energetic.
“DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” has moved to the 2nd most popular Usher song on Spotify. It also has one of Usher’s most recognizable choruses. It’s also more upbeat than current favorite “OMG”. Sitting at a toe tapping 120 BPM (beats per minute). It also doesn’t take overly long to start, or get to the chorus. I can see Usher getting through the first chorus of the song and letting it explode right into his mega hit “Yeah” to continually let the energy of his performance increase.

Eddie’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick – Chiefs ML
That is all.
8. Varun Sharma- NBA & NFL Contributor
It’s officially time, the NFL season is coming to a close and it’s time for the biggest game of the season; the Super Bowl. Last chance we’ve got to make money on football until the fall, but remember it’s the biggest game of the year so have some fun.
Don’t be the guy sweating out his bets, be the guy enjoying the game. Now, let’s get into what we’re sweating.
Sauce’s Super Bowl 58 Game Pick – Chiefs ML (+115) Bovada
I can sit here and tell you about how the Chiefs were counted out all season, but yet here they are in the Super Bowl. We can talk about how I myself thought the Chiefs run would come to an end against the Ravens last week.
This is the Chiefs’ fourth Super Bowl in five years, Patrick Mahomes is 12-3 in the playoffs, and this might be the best the defense has ever looked.
I just can’t bet against Mahomes, not again and not in the big game.
Sauce’s Super Bowl 58 Game Prop – Gatorade Color Orange (+500) BetOnline
Picture this: the game’s over, and the winner’s in victory formation. Everyone’s getting ready to go home, but you’re still sweating out a bet? What bet could it possibly be? GATORADE COLOR.
Now look, I did the research. I looked at what these guys have drank in the past, I tried DM’ing players, and I tried looking at past Super Bowl Winners and what they drank.
Last season Purple took it home at +800 depending on the book you got. Now it would make sense, the Chiefs won it all last year, they had purple gatorade, why change things up right?
Well for one thing, they weren’t drinking purple when they beat the Niners back in 2020; and at +200, there’s no real value left there.
So what color was the Gatorade back in 2020? It was orange. What color is the Gatorade gonna be in 2024? Orange.
Both teams could logically be drinking orange, it would match both uniforms and at +500 I’m loving the value.
Enjoy Super Bowl 58!
