Steelers vs Ravens AFC Wild Card Predictions & Picks (1/11)
After meeting twice during the regular season, the Steelers and Ravens will collide in postseason action. It’s the first time that the AFC North rivals will meet in the playoffs since the 2014 Wild Card Round, which ended with the Ravens picking up a 30-17 win, marking their first-ever postseason victory over the Steelers.
Overall, though, recent history has favored Pittsburgh.
The Steelers are a commanding 8-2 SU across their last 10 meetings with the Ravens. The long-time foes split the 2024 season series with the Ravens most recently notching a dominating 34-17 win against the Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 16. Lamar Jackson dazzled by passing for three touchdowns while Derrick Henry racked up 187 scrimmage yards on 26 touches.
Not only did the win give the Ravens some bragging rights, but it also played a big role in their eventual clinching of the AFC North title — marking their second in as many seasons.
The Ravens will aim for their second straight win over the Steelers.
A strong performance on the ground paved the way for the Ravens’ latest win over the Steelers. It was an example of Baltimore’s recently improved effort in the run department, proven by its average of 230.3 rushing yards in the last three games—No. 1 in the NFL during that stretch.
Although the Steelers’ defense is among the league’s better units, they still allowed an average of 114.7 rushing yards during the regular season meetings with the Ravens.
Speaking of offense, the Ravens are operating on a 33.8 PPG clip in their last four outings — all wins — which could prove to be too much for Mike Tomlin’s team to handle. The Steelers are heading into NFL Wild Card Weekend on a four-game losing streak where they averaged 14.3 PPG with a minus-10.5 average scoring margin.
How will the Steelers handle the Ravens’ red-hot offense?
After how the last clash between these AFC North rivals went, I’m predicting a Ravens win.
The Ravens look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders whereas the Steelers are giving off a vibe that they’re lucky to be in the postseason at this rate. I fully expect Baltimore to outgun Pittsburgh again at M&T Bank Stadium, which is why…
You should also take the Ravens to score o28.5 points (+135) for the best bet. Boasting one of the NFL’s best offenses, Baltimore has scored 29-plus points 11 times (64.7%) this season which includes against Pittsburgh at home just a few weeks ago.
Not only have the Steelers allowed at least 29 points in two of their last three games, but they also gave up 30.0 PPG in their last five road games. Hope on this plus-money while you can.

Best Steelers vs Ravens NFL Wild Card Player Prop Bet
Even though he’s thrived as a runner recently, I’m going with Lamar Jackson u50.5 rushing yards (-114 on Sports Betting) for the best Steelers vs. Ravens AFC Wild Card player prop bet.
While Jackson averaged an NFL-leading 6.6 yards per carry while putting up 53.8 rushing yards per game, his numbers have slightly declined as the season progressed. The veteran dual-threat quarterback went from averaging 62.6 rushing yards in his first eight starts to 46.0 in the last nine — a stretch where the Under went 5-4.
Another reason to back the Under is that the Steelers have allowed the fourth-fewest rushing yards to QB. That includes holding Jackson to an average of 34.0 yards per game, meaning the Under is now 3-0 in his last three encounters with Pittsburgh.
Best Steelers vs. Ravens Player Prop: Lamar Jackson u50.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
