See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Dallas Cowboys are back in action and feeling well-rested following last week’s bye. Their return matchup in NFL Week 8 is a big one as they’re set to host Cooper Kupp and the LA Rams at AT&T Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
The Rams continue to alternate between wins and losses this season, most recently falling 24-17 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. The Cowboys, meanwhile, last played against the Los Angeles Chargers two weeks ago, exiting SoFi Stadium with a 20-17 victory.
Bovada’s futures betting markets highlight how the 2023 NFL season has been going for both sides. Dallas is currently tied for the fifth-best odds to win Super Bowl LVIII (+1200) while LA sits much further back at +12500 (T-No. 19).
Below is everything you need to know heading into the Rams vs. Cowboys Week 8 clash, including the latest NFL odds, an expert prediction, and the best betting picks.

Rams vs Cowboys Prediction & Best Bet — NFL Week 8
The Cowboys head into this Week 8 matchup looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since Weeks 1 and 2. It’ll be interesting to see if last week’s bye helps them achieve that goal.
Fortunately for Mike McCarthy’s team, the Cowboys have been fantastic at home. They’ve won 10 straight games at AT&T Stadium dating back to the 2022 NFL season, which includes a 2-0 record in Arlington this fall.
What’s even more impressive is how the Cowboys won those two home games. The victories came dominantly as Dallas outscored the New England Patriots and New York Jets 68-13 on aggregate.
While the Rams have the talent to put up points, the offense hasn’t been consistent lately. LA is only averaging 19.0 points over its last three outings, being held to 17 or fewer twice during that span.
Matthew Stafford’s play under center has been a key factor behind that drought. The Rams are only averaging 205.7 passing yards over the last three games with QB Matthew Stafford completing just 55.6% of passes over that stretch.
With the Cowboys only allowing a 60.0% completion rate (No. 5) and 177.0 passing yards per game (No. 3), it could be another long night for the Rams’ aerial attack.
And while a 6.5-point spread is substantial, the Rams could have problems keeping things close. While they’re a decent 4-2-1 ATS this season, they’re also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 October matchups and 1-4 ATS on their five previous trips to AT&T Stadium.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, are 4-2 ATS in 2023 and covered in spread in both of their home games thus far. At the end of the day, Dallas covering a big spread isn’t unfathomable given that the Cowboys boast the fifth-best average scoring margin in the NFL (plus-9.0).
The Rams will put up a fight, but the Cowboys will emerge with the victory. Dallas has been playing great at AT&T Stadium and I just don’t see a loss coming against an LA team that has lost eight of its 10 previous road games.
Having said that, don’t expect more than 46 points to be scored. Five of the Rams’ seven games this season finished with the Under on that number while four of the Cowboys’ six did the same.
With the Under being a combined 8-5 for these teams in 2023, it’s best to lower offensive expectations this week.
Rams vs Cowboys Prediction: Cowboys 24, Rams 16
Bet: Under 46 Total Points (-115 on Bovada)
Rams vs Cowboys Best Bet – NFL Week 8
With the Rams vs. Cowboys player prop odds now available, I have my eyes set on a Tony Pollard anytime touchdown as this week’s best option.
The Rams’ defense has been a running back’s best friend more often than not this season. Not only have they allowed 130-plus rushing yards in four of their last six games, but they’ve also allowed at least one rushing TD in five of the last six games.
Pollard is due to hit paydirt any game now and with the way things are shaping up, that should happen in Week 8.
Best Bet: Tony Pollard Anytime Touchdown (-164 on Bovada)
