See Picks & Statistics For The GameWeek 5 of the 2022 NFL season brings yet another slate of entertaining matchups. While Sunday has several intriguing tilts, a lot of eyes will be on the Monday Night Football matchup as the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs meet in a battle for AFC West bragging rights.
The Raiders finally gave their fans something to celebrate last week with their first win of the season. The success came in the form of a 32-23 victory over the Denver Broncos, highlighted by running back Josh Jacobs turning 28 carries into 144 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs managed to score a 41-31 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what was a potential Super Bowl LVII preview. Patrick Mahomes was his usual self under center, completing 23 passes for 249 yards with a trio of TDs to one interception.
Betting News has gathered the latest Raiders vs Chiefs odds from BetOnline Sportsbook to help shed some light on the situation, along with a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 5 game.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs Prediction and Picks
Raiders vs Chiefs Prediction: Chiefs 34, Raiders 20
Raiders vs Chiefs Picks: Chiefs -7.5 (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline) & Over 51.5 Points (Best Value: -105 at BetOnline)
Few quarterbacks have owned a rival team as Mahomes has with the Raiders. The 2018 NFL MVP is an impressive 7-1 in eight all-time meetings with the AFC West rival, throwing 22 TDs to three INTs while averaging 318.3 passing yards per game.
What’s even more impressive is the fact that the Chiefs have averaged a whopping 37.4 points over that eight-game span. There was only one instance in that stretch where Kansas City scored fewer than 30 points.
Having said that, Kansas City’s dominance in the Raiders vs Chiefs rivalry isn’t exactly anything new. The Chiefs have won 15 of their last 18 games against the Raiders, which includes winning each of the last three meetings by a combined score of 124-54.
While the Raiders should be proud of last week’s win over the Broncos, Denver hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations this year. The Broncos offense is only producing 16.5 points per game this season (third-worst), whereas the Chiefs average 32.3 PPG (second-best).
That’s certainly bad news for the ‘Silver and Black.’ Despite some defensive improvements over the offseason, the Raiders have given up 25.0 PPG, which is tied for the ninth-worst clip across the NFL.
Maybe last week’s win means better things for Las Vegas, but it’s hard to trust Josh McDaniels’ team when the success just hasn’t been there against Kansas City. After all, the Raiders only have one win in their last nine trips to Arrowhead Stadium.
It’s a small sample size, but the Chiefs have already lived up to the hype of being Super Bowl LVII contenders this season. The Raiders still have time to get there too, but a 1-3 start has them looking more like pretenders than contenders.
At the end of the day, I expect the Chiefs to snag the home victory. They’re the clear-cut better team and consistently put up the points against the Raiders at a pace that I don’t think the latter can handle.
While taking the Chiefs on the 7.5-point spread is a good idea, so is backing the over on the 51.5-point total. Kansas City and Las Vegas have averaged 60.4 points in their last five meetings, which is a trend I expect to continue in Week 5.
