The arrival of the NFL Week 6 schedules means we’re nearly one-third of the way through the 2023 season. Things are only getting more intense as the campaign chugs along, further upping the stakes of the incoming slate of football action.
Even though there are still a few days until the fun begins, it isn’t too early to preview all 15 upcoming matchups. So, get ready as we dive into the early NFL Week 6 odds, as well as my best bets for each game.
Week 5 Outright Record: 8-6-0
Week 5 Best Bet Record: 5-8-0

Bye Week Teams: Packers, Steelers
NFL Week 6 Thursday Night Football Odds
Broncos vs Chiefs Odds
- Record: Denver Broncos (1-4) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Location: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium — Kansas City, MO
- Spread: Broncos +10.5 (-113) | Chiefs -10.5 (-107)
- Total: OVER 48 (-110) | UNDER 48 (-110)
- Moneyline: Broncos +460 | Chiefs -600
The Broncos continued their run with mediocrity in the form of a 31-21 loss to the New York Jets in Week 5. Meanwhile, the Chiefs notched their fourth win in a row as Patrick Mahomes’ 281-yard, two-touchdown performance led them to a 27-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
I really don’t think there’s any reason to overthink things here. The Broncos just lost to the Aaron Rodgers-less Jets, whereas the Chiefs are poised to challenge for Super Bowl LVIII.
While I think the Chiefs will win, a 10.5-point spread might be too much to cover. Yes, the Broncos are bad, but Kansas City has only won one game by a double-digit margin in 2023.
Broncos vs Chiefs Prediction: KC 26, DEN 17
Broncos vs Chiefs Best Bet: DEN +10.5 (-113)
NFL Week 6 Early Sunday Odds
Ravens vs Titans Odds
- Record: Baltimore Ravens (3-2) vs. Tennessee Titans (2-3)
- Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
- Location: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London, U.K.)
- Spread: Ravens -3 (-128) | Titans +3 (+108)
- Total: OVER 40 (-110) | UNDER 40 (-110)
- Moneyline: Ravens -180 | Titans +160
After getting off to a 10-0 lead, the Ravens couldn’t generate any offense beyond that as they fell 17-10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans were also left disappointed last week as they picked up a 23-16 loss to the rival Indianapolis Colts.
Even though both teams disappointed their fans last week, I like the Ravens more this weekend. Tennessee’s offense has been underwhelming this season and the incoming jetlag won’t improve the situation. Baltimore’s defense is elite and should be able to capitalize on any mistakes.
As for the best bet, I’m taking the Under on the 40-point total. After all, the Ravens’ first five games only saw an average of 36.8 points scored while the Titans’ contests averaged 34.2 PPG.
Ravens vs Titans Prediction: BAL 21, TEN 16
Ravens vs Titans Best Bet: Under 40 Points (-110)
Commanders vs Falcons Odds
- Record: Washington Commanders (2-3) vs. Atlanta Falcons (3-2)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)
- Spread: Commanders +2.5 (-108) | Falcons -2.5 (-112)
- Total: OVER 41.5 (-110) | UNDER 41.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Commanders +120 | Falcons -140
The Commanders were absolutely embarrassed on Sunday, getting destroyed 40-20 by the Chicago Bears. On the flip side, the Falcons have a pep in their step following a 21-19 win over the Houston Texans that saw QB Desmond Ridder lead a drive that resulted in a game-winning field goal as time expired.
I just can’t bring myself to trust the Commanders after losing to the Bears of all teams. The Falcons looked good in their comeback effort and the home crowd should help keep those vibes going in Week 6.
Commanders vs Falcons Prediction: ATL 23, WSH 20
Commanders vs Falcons Best Bet: ATL -2.5 (-112)
Vikings vs Bears Odds
- Record: Minnesota Vikings (1-4) vs. Chicago Bears (1-4)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Soldier Field (Chicago, IL)
- Spread: Vikings -2.5 (-110) | Bears +2.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 45.5 (-115) | UNDER 45.5 (-105)
- Moneyline: Vikings -140 | Bears +120
The Vikings returned to the loss column over the weekend with a 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. Meanwhile, the Bears head into the NFL Week 6 action after a 40-20 win over the Commanders that saw DJ Moore leading the way with 230 receiving yards and three TDs on eight catches.
Even though the Vikings are favored, I’m taking the Bears at home. Minnesota is 2-8-1 ATS in its last 11 games and now has to play without star WR Justin Jefferson, who just landed on the injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Considering how the Vikings’ only win came against the winless Carolina Panthers, I won’t be shocked at all if the Bears find a way to win their second game in a row.
Vikings vs Bears Prediction: CHI 27, MIN 24
Vikings vs Bears Best Bet: CHI +2.5 (-110)
Seahawks vs Bengals Odds
- Record: Seattle Seahawks (3-1) vs. Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Paycor Stadium (Cincinnati, OH)
- Spread: Seahawks -2.5 (-110) | Bengals +2.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 45.5 (-115) | UNDER 45.5 (-105)
- Moneyline: Seahawks -140 | Bengals +120
The Seahawks are coming off their bye week, leaving time to tell if they’re ready to continue their impressive start to the year. Meanwhile, the Bengals won for the second time in three weeks with a 34-20 effort against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Bengals are still playing below their capabilities, but I see them turning things around in Week 6. The Seahawks are good, but they haven’t beaten any good teams outside of the Lions, which they needed overtime to achieve.
I could see this being a back-and-forth affair, but Seattle’s lackluster secondary should help Joe Burrow & Co. return to form on offense.
Seahawks vs Bengals Prediction: CIN 28, SEA 24
Seahawks vs Bengals Best Bet: CIN +2.5 (-110)
49ers vs Browns Odds
- Record: San Francisco 49ers (5-0) vs. Cleveland Browns (2-2)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Cleveland Browns Stadium (Cleveland, OH)
- Spread: 49ers -5.5 (-110) | Browns +5.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 38.5 (-110) | UNDER 38.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: 49ers -215 | Browns +185
The 49ers continued to cement themselves as Super Bowl favorites with last week’s 42-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Browns, on the other hand, will attempt to defend home territory following their bye week.
There’s really no reason to believe in the Browns pulling off an upset. The 49ers are elite from head to toe and just manhandled the Cowboys — a team with a lot more talent than Cleveland.
Back San Francisco to win in a landslide and move on.
49ers vs Browns Prediction: SF 31, CLE 17
49ers vs Browns Best Bet: SF -5.5 (-110)
Panthers vs Dolphins Odds
- Record: Carolina Panthers (0-5) vs. Miami Dolphins (4-1)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens, FL)
- Spread: Panthers +14 (-110) | Dolphins -14 (-110)
- Total: OVER 48.5 (-115) | UNDER 48.5 (-105)
- Moneyline: Panthers +640 | Dolphins -900
Success continues to elude the Panthers as they fell to 0-5 with a 42-24 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Dolphins can’t relate to their opponent’s struggles as they come off Sunday’s massive 31-16 win over the New York Giants.
The Panthers will likely get destroyed in this mismatch. They currently own the NFL’s fifth-worst scoring defense, whereas the Dolphins have the best attack in the league. This game will likely be out of reach fairly early on.
Still, a 14-point spread is a lot to cover, which is why I’m going with the Over as the best bet. After all, Carolina’s first five games saw an average of 45 points scored while Miami’s saw a 61.2 PPG clip.
Panthers vs Dolphins Prediction: MIA 38, CAR 20
Panthers vs Dolphins Best Bet: Over 48.5 Points (-115)
Colts vs Jaguars Odds
- Record: Indianapolis Colts (3-2) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: EverBank Stadium (Jacksonville, FL)
- Spread: Colts +4 (-112) | Jaguars -4 (-108)
- Total: OVER 46 (-110) | UNDER 46 (-110)
- Moneyline: Colts +175 | Jaguars -205
Despite losing QB Anthony Richardson to injury, the Colts found a way to edge out a 23-16 win over the Titans in Week 5. Meanwhile, the Jaguars return to America after improving to 2-0 in London this season with a 25-20 victory against the Buffalo Bills.
These teams previously collided in Week 1, ending in a 31-21 win for Jacksonville. The Colts have been better than expected since then, but it’s hard going against the Jags after their impressive effort in their win over the Bills.
Still, Indianapolis has been competitive with Gardner Minshew under center. With the Colts also having a 2-0 ATS record on the road this season, this game could end up being closer than projected.
Colts vs Jaguars Prediction: JAX 24, IND 21
Colts vs Jaguars Best Bet: IND +4 (-112)
Saints vs Texans Odds
- Record: New Orleans Saints (3-2) vs. Houston Texans (2-3)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: NRG Stadium (Houston, TX)
- Spread: Saints -1 (-110) | Texans +1 (-110)
- Total: OVER 41 (-113) | UNDER 41 (-107)
- Moneyline: Saints -123 | Texans +103
The Saints picked up a rare shutout victory last week, holding the New England Patriots off the scoresheet with a 34-0 effort. The Texans, on the other hand, aim to get back on track after blowing a fourth-quarter lead in a 21-19 loss to the Falcons.
While the Texans have been solid, I expect the Saints to capitalize on last week’s momentum. New Orleans is also 2-1 through three away games with that sole loss coming by a single point, so I expect another strong road effort from Dennis Allen’s team.
I will be going with the Under on the 41-point total, though. The Saints have yet to play in a game where more than 37 points were scored while each of the Texans’ last two games finished with 40 or fewer points.
Saints vs Texans Prediction: NO 22, HOU 17
Saints vs Texans Best Bet: Under 41 Points (-107)

NFL Week 6 Odds — Late Sunday Games
Patriots vs Raiders Odds
- Record: New England Patriots (1-4) vs. Las Vegas Raiders (2-3)
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET
- Location: Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas, NV)
- Spread: Patriots +3 (+100) | Raiders -3 (-120)
- Total: OVER 41 (-110) | UNDER 41 (-110)
- Moneyline: Patriots TBD | Raiders TBD
The Patriots' struggles continued embarrassingly over the weekend, losing 34-0 to the Saints. At the same time, the Raiders managed to hold on for a 17-13 win against the Green Bay Packers on Monday as Jakobi Meyers and Josh Jacobs each hit paydirt for Las Vegas.
How can anyone like the Patriots at this point? They’ve scored three points through their last two games and own the second-worst scoring margin in the NFL (minus-15.2).
The Raiders aren’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but they at least look better than whatever is going on in New England. In other words, back Josh McDaniels’ team to stick it to Bill Belichick.
Patriots vs Raiders Prediction: LV 20, NE 13
Patriots vs Raiders Best Bet: Under 41 Points (-110)
Cardinals vs Rams Odds
- Record: Arizona Cardinals (1-4) vs. LA Rams (2-3)
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Location: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, CA)
- Spread: Cardinals +6.5 (-110) | Rams -6.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 48.5 (-112) | UNDER 48.5 (-108)
- Moneyline: Cardinals +235 | Rams -280
The Cardinals enter the NFL Week 6 slate hoping to avoid a third straight loss after losing 34-20 to the Bengals. The rival Rams aim for their first home win of the year after eating a 23-14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at SoFi Stadium last week.
Even though they didn’t win last week, the Rams looked “right” with Cooper Kupp back on the field. LA’s aerial attack shouldn’t struggle against an Arizona defense that’s allowing 251.4 passing yards (No. 26) and 27.2 points (No. 27) per game.
With a 10-2-1 ATS record in their last 13 encounters with the Cardinals, look for the Rams to cover again this weekend.
Cardinals vs Rams Prediction: LAR 27, ARI 20
Cardinals vs Rams Best Bet: LAR -6.5 (-110)
Eagles vs Jets Odds
- Record: Philadelphia Eagles (5-0) vs. New York Jets (2-3)
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ)
- Spread: Eagles -6.5 (-115) | Jets +6.5 (-105)
- Total: OVER 42 (-110) | UNDER 42 (-110)
- Moneyline: Eagles -280 | Jets +235
Both of these teams were victorious last week. The Eagles earned a 23-14 win over the Rams while the Jets picked up a 31-21 victory against the Broncos as RB Breece Hall rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
The Broncos aren’t that great of a team, meaning the Jets are in for a much stiffer challenge come Sunday afternoon. The Eagles are looking great in every aspect and are only allowing 15.0 PPG on the road.
Unless they completely forget how to play football, the Birds will win this one by at least one touchdown.
Eagles vs Jets Prediction: PHI 24, NJY 14
Eagles vs Jets Best Bet: PHI -6.5 (-115)
Lions vs Buccaneers Odds
- Record: Detroit Lions (4-1) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1)
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Location: Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, FL)
- Spread: Lions -3 (-125) | Buccaneers +3 (+105)
- Total: OVER 44 (-110) | UNDER 44 (-110)
- Moneyline: Lions -175 | Buccaneers +155
No Amon-Ra St. Brown last week? No problem. The Lions managed to pick up a 42-24 win over the Panthers even without their top wideout. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers return to action after their bye week.
The Lions are on a roll and have the offensive power to outgun any opponent. While the Buccaneers have exceeded expectations thus far, I don’t see Baker Mayfield and the rest of the offense being able to keep pace with Detroit in a shootout.
With it looking like St. Brown will be healthy by Sunday, I’m taking the Lions to win a high-scoring affair.
Lions vs Buccaneers Prediction: DET 31, TB 23
Lions vs Buccaneers Best Bet: Over 44 Points (-110)
NFL Week 6 Sunday Night Football Odds
Giants vs Bills Odds
- Record: New York Giants (1-4) vs. Buffalo Bills (3-2)
- Time: 8:20 p.m. ET
- Location: Highmark Stadium (Orchard Park, NY)
- Spread: Giants +14 (-114) | Bills -14 (-106)
- Total: OVER 44.5 (-110) | UNDER 44.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Giants +580 | Bills -800
It’s NFL Week 6 and the Giants are still one of the worst teams in the league, highlighted by last week’s 31-16 loss to the Dolphins. The Bills, meanwhile, are hungry for revenge after losing 25-20 to the Jaguars in London.
This game is another one that you shouldn’t overthink. The Giants are awful on both sides of the ball and are only scoring 12.4 PPG. For reference, the Bills scored 13 points in the fourth quarter alone last week.
I don’t know if it’ll be by 15-plus points, but Buffalo should win decisively.
Giants vs Bills Prediction: BUF 30, NYG 17
Giants vs Bills Best Bet: Over 44.5 Points (-110)
NFL Week 6 Monday Night Football Odds
Cowboys vs Chargers Odds
- Record: Dallas Cowboys (3-2) vs. Los Angeles Chargers (2-2)
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Location: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, CA)
- Spread: Cowboys -2 (-110) | Chargers +2 (-110)
- Total: OVER 51.5 (-108) | UNDER 51.5 (-112)
- Moneyline: Cowboys -130 | Chargers +110
The Cowboys were left embarrassed in Week 5 as they suffered a 42-10 blowout loss to the 49ers. Meanwhile, the Chargers are looking for their third win in a row as they come out of their bye week.
Yes, the Chargers have some momentum, but their wins came against the Raiders and Vikings — two of the NFL’s worst teams. The Cowboys will be looking to make a statement this week and shouldn’t have issues finding success against a Los Angeles defense that surrenders a ton of opportunities.
Cowboys vs Chargers Prediction: DAL 27, LAC 23
Cowboys vs Chargers Best Bet: DAL -2 (-110)
