It seemed like the 2023 NFL season only began yesterday, however, we’re already less than two months away from the playoffs. Having said that, there are still six weeks left of regular season action and it all starts with the NFL Week 13 schedule.
Even though the new slate doesn’t begin for a few days, that doesn’t mean it’s too early to examine the upcoming betting opportunities. That might seem intimidating to some bettors, but that’s why Betting News is here to ensure that your betting experience is second to none.
With that in mind, let’s dive into my latest weekly preview, where we’ll take a look at my NFL Week 13 predictions and best bets for each of the 13 upcoming contests.
All NFL Week 13 odds are courtesy of BetOnline at 10:33 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 27.
Bye Week Teams: Bills, Bears, Raiders, Vikings, Giants, Ravens
Week 12 Outright Record: 10-5-0
Week 12 Best Bet Record: 9-5-0
NFL Week 13 Predictions & Odds: Thursday Night Football
Seahawks vs Cowboys Odds & Prediction
- Record: Seattle Seahawks (6-5) vs. Dallas Cowboys (8-3)
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)
- Spread: Seahawks +9 (-115) | Cowboys -9 (-105)
- Total: OVER 46.5 (-107) | UNDER 46.5 (-113)
- Moneyline: Seahawks +335 | Cowboys -415
The NFL Week 13 slate opens with two teams heading in opposite directions. The Seahawks are spiraling with a 1-3 record in their last four games while the Cowboys ride a three-game winning streak into Thursday Night Football.
I just can’t see the Cowboys slowing down anytime soon. They’re averaging 42.3 PPG with a plus-30.0 average scoring margin in their last three games, whereas two of the Seahawks’ last three losses came by at least three possessions.
Given that the Cowboys own the NFL’s best scoring margin at home (plus-29.0), covering the 9-point spread won’t be an issue come Thursday.
Seahawks vs. Cowboys Prediction: DAL wins
Seahawks vs. Cowboys Best Bet: DAL -9 (-105)
NFL Week 13 Predictions & Odds: Sunday Afternoon
Colts vs. Titans Odds & Prediction
- Record: Indianapolis Colts (6-5) vs. Tennessee Titans (4-7)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Nissan Stadium — Nashville, TN
- Spread: Colts -2 (-110) | Titans +2 (-110)
- Total: OVER 43 (-110) | UNDER 43 (-110)
- Moneyline: Colts -135 | Titans +115
This game is the second between these AFC South rivals this season. They previously met at Lucas Oil Stadium back in Week 5 as the Colts picked up a 23-16 win over the Titans as Zack Moss rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
Even though they’re solid at home this season, the Titans being 2-5 SU in their last seven games can’t be ignored — especially when those victories came against the Panthers and Falcons, who are a combined 6-16 this season.
The Colts aren’t perfect, but their offense has been solid with Gardner Minshew under center, averaging 24.4 PPG in his seven starts thus far. With the Titans scoring 17 or fewer points in six of their last seven games, Indy won’t struggle to cover.
Colts vs. Titans Prediction: IND wins
Colts vs. Titans Best Bet: IND -2 (-110)
Chargers vs. Patriots Odds & Prediction
- Record: Los Angeles Chargers (4-7) vs. New England Patriots (2-9)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Gillette Stadium — Foxboro, MA
- Spread: Chargers -6 (-110) | Patriots +6 (-110)
- Total: OVER 40.5 (-110) | UNDER 40.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Chargers -285 | Patriots +240
It’s no secret that the Chargers and Patriots have failed to meet expectations in 2023. Having said that, New England is the much worse team and anyone who expects an upset should re-think things.
The Patriots have been horrific as of late, going 1-7 SU with a minus-11.6 average scoring margin in their last eight games. They’ve also lost four straight matchups ahead of this tilt, averaging a putrid 11.8 PPG along the way.
There’s little reason to believe that the Patriots can hang with the Chargers — especially with a 1-5 ATS record at Gillette Stadium this season.
Chargers vs. Patriots Prediction: LAC wins
Chargers vs. Patriots Best Bet: LAC -6 (-110)
Lions vs. Saints Odds & Prediction
- Record: Detroit Lions (8-3) vs. New Orleans Saints (5-6)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Caesars Superdome — New Orleans, LA
- Spread: Lions -3.5 (-116) | Saints +3.5 (-104)
- Total: OVER 43 (-110) | UNDER 43 (-110)
- Moneyline: Lions -185 | Saints +165
The Lions’ three-game winning streak came to an end with a 29-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 12. Fortunately, Dan Campbell’s team has a great opportunity to bounce back against the Saints, who’ve lost back-to-back outings to the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons.
The Saints are just too banged up for my liking to pose a threat. Top wideouts Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed both exited last week’s loss with injuries and didn’t return. That’s without mentioning how DE Cameron Jordan sustained a shin injury while No. 1 CB Marshow Lattimore was placed on the IR last week.
In other words, I fully expect the Lions to win by more than 3.5 points this Sunday.
Lions vs. Saints Prediction: DET wins
Lions vs. Saints Best Bet: DET -3.5 (-116)
Falcons vs. Jets Odds & Prediction
- Record: Atlanta Falcons (5-6) vs. New York Jets (4-7)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Metlife Stadium — East Rutherford, NJ
- Spread: Falcons -2.5 (-120) | Jets +2.5 (+100)
- Total: OVER 34 (-110) | UNDER 34 (-110)
- Moneyline: Falcons -150 | Jets +130
The Falcons have struggled with consistency in 2023, but they hope that better times are on the horizon following a 24-15 win over the Saints. Meanwhile, the Jets’ losing streak hit four straight games following a Black Friday blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins.
While neither team has been overly reliable, I’m taking the Falcons to win. Yes, they have three losses in their last four games, but each defeat came by five or fewer points. On the other side, the Jets have lost their last four games by an 18-point average.
It doesn’t matter who’s the quarterback this week — the Jets stink. Don’t expect that to change in Week 13.
Falcons vs. Jets Prediction: ATL wins
Falcons vs. Jets Best Bet: ATL -2.5 (-120)
Cardinals vs. Steelers Odds & Prediction
- Record: Arizona Cardinals (2-10) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Acrisure Stadium — Pittsburgh, PA
- Spread: Cardinals +5.5 (-113) | Steelers -5.5 (-107)
- Total: OVER 40 (-110) | UNDER 40 (-110)
- Moneyline: Cardinals +210 | Steelers -250
Despite Kyler Murray being back under center, nothing has changed for the Cardinals, who are now 1-8 in their last nine games. The Steelers, meanwhile, have some momentum on their side, improving to 3-1 in their last four outings with last week’s 16-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Picking the Steelers to win is a no-brainer, but I’m also going with the Under on the 40-point total as the best bet. For starters, the Under is 1-5 in Arizona’s six road games thus far, as well as 9-2 overall for Pittsburgh this season.
Considering how the Steelers average the sixth-fewest points at home (17.2 PPG) while Arizona owns an 11.2 PPG clip on the road (2nd-worst), I don’t see a ton of scoring in this matchup.
Cardinals vs. Steelers Prediction: PIT wins
Cardinals vs. Steelers Best Bet: u40 Total Points (-110)
Dolphins vs. Commanders Odds & Prediction
- Record: Miami Dolphins (8-3) vs. Washington Commanders (4-8)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: FedExField — Landover, MD
- Spread: Dolphins -9.5 (-110) | Commanders +9.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 50 (-110) | UNDER 50 (-110)
- Moneyline: Dolphins -435 | Commanders +355
When it comes to the outright outcome, don’t overthink things. The Dolphins are one of the AFC’s best teams and continue to prove themselves to be Super Bowl contenders. Meanwhile, the Commanders own one of the NFL’s worst defenses and only have one win in five home outings this season.
With that in mind, taking the Over is the way to go again. The Dolphins own the second-best offense in 2023 (30.8 PPG) and won’t struggle to put up points against the Commanders, who allow a league-worst 29.2 PPG, which jumps up to 32.4 at home.
Given that Washington’s last five games saw an average of 53.5 points scored, I expect a barn-burner at FedExField.
Dolphins vs. Commanders Prediction: MIA wins
Dolphins vs. Commanders Best Bet: o50 Total Points (-110)
Broncos vs. Texans Odds & Prediction
- Record: Denver Broncos (6-5) vs. Houston Texans (6-5)
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: NRG Stadium — Houston, TX
- Spread: Broncos +3 (-105) | Texans -3 (-115)
- Total: OVER 46 (-110) | UNDER 46 (-110)
- Moneyline: Broncos +140 | Texans -160
Somehow, someway, the Broncos are the NFL’s hottest team, bringing a five-game winning streak to NRG Stadium. The Texans have been playing well, too, but they’re left in a position to bounce back after falling 24-21 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.
While Houston has three wins in its last four games, each victory came by five or fewer points. Denver, on the other hand, has two wins of 15 or more points in its last four outings, along with victories over the Bills and Chiefs during that span.
While I could see the Texans remaining hot at home, I’m taking the Broncos to pull off the upset. As long as the defense holds up and Russell Wilson plays mistake-free football, things look promising for Sean Payton’s team.
Broncos vs. Texans Prediction: DEN wins
Broncos vs. Texans Best Bet: DEN +3 (-105)

Now, back to the NFL Week 13 predictions and odds…
NFL Week 13 Predictions & Odds: Sunday Afternoon
Panthers vs. Buccaneers Odds & Prediction
- Record: Carolina Panthers (1-10) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7)
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET
- Location: Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, FL)
- Spread: Panthers +6 (-110) | Buccaneers -6 (-110)
- Total: OVER 37 (-110) | UNDER 37 (-110)
- Moneyline: Panthers +220 | Buccaneers -260
There’s no sense in having faith in the Panthers after firing head coach Frank Reich to begin the week. Was Reich the best coach? No, but it’s going to take some time to see what interim bench boss Chris Tabor — who was the special teams coach — can do.
The Buccaneers aren’t perfect by any stretch, but they can at least score 20-plus points on a regular basis — something the Panthers haven’t done since Week 6. That’s without mentioning how Carolina is 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS on the road this season.
Take Tampa Bay to win convincingly before focusing on its next opponent.
Panthers vs. Buccaneers Prediction: TB wins
Panthers vs. Buccaneers Best Bet: TB -6 (-110)
Browns vs. Rams Odds & Prediction
- Record: Cleveland Browns (7-4) vs. LA Rams (5-6)
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Location: SoFi Stadium — Inglewood, CA
- Spread: Browns +3 (-105) | Rams -3 (-115)
- Total: OVER 46 (-110) | UNDER 46 (-110)
- Moneyline: Browns +140 | Rams -160
Life without QB Deshaun Watson is hurting the Browns, who have now scored 25 total points in their last two games. While the Rams haven’t lived up to the hype all season, back-to-back victories in their last two outings give them some momentum heading into this collision.
Due to Cleveland’s QB situation, I see LA edging out the victory. At the same time, I also have my eyes on the Under. First of all, the Under is 11-4 in the Browns’ last 15 games against NFC teams, as well as 5-2 in the Rams’ last seven outings this season.
Considering how the last six games between these teams saw an average of 36.3 points scored (nearly 10 fewer than this week’s projected total), expect a defense-heavy meeting this weekend.
Browns vs. Rams Prediction: LAR wins
Browns vs. Rams Best Bet: u46 Total Points (-110)
49ers vs. Eagles Odds & Prediction
- Record: San Francisco 49ers (8-3) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (10-1)
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Location: Lincoln Financial Field — Philadelphia, PA
- Spread: 49ers -2.5 (-120) | Eagles +2.5 (+100)
- Total: OVER 46.5 (-110) | UNDER 46.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: 49ers -155 | Eagles +135
As good as the 49ers are, it’s surprising to see them as the 2.5-point favorites in this matchup. The Eagles might not be in perfect health, but there’s a reason why they only have one loss this season. They’re just that damn good.
Besides, the Eagles just beat the 49ers 31-7 in the NFC Championship Game back in January. Yes, San Francisco lost Brock Purdy to injury in that game, but the fact remains that Philly has every reason to be confident at home.
With plus-odds for the Eagles on the spread, I really like the Birds as an upset pick this weekend.
49ers vs. Eagles Prediction: PHI wins
49ers vs. Eagles Best Bet: PHI +2.5 (+100)
NFL Week 13 Sunday Night Football Predictions
Chiefs vs. Packers Odds & Prediction
- Record: Kansas City Chiefs (8-3) vs. Green Bay Packers (5-6)
- Time: 8:20 p.m. ET
- Location: Lambeau Field (Green Bay, WI)
- Spread: Chiefs -6.5 (-110) | Packers +6.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 42.5 (-110) | UNDER 42.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Chiefs -280 | Packers +235
While the Chiefs enter Sunday Night Football following a win over the Raiders, it’s worth noting that Kansas City hasn’t experienced back-to-back wins since Weeks 6/7. Meanwhile, the Packers look to win three straight games for the first time in the 2023 campaign.
Although I’m confident in the Chiefs’s ability to win, I feel better about the Under on the 42.5-point total as the best bet. On top of the Under being a combined 14-8 between these teams this year, it’s also 6-1 in Kansas City’s last seven games and 5-2 in Green Bay’s last seven outings.
With temperatures also expected to be as low as 35 degrees for Sunday night in Green Bay, I won’t be shocked if the Chiefs and Packers are too cold to surpass the projected total.
Chiefs vs. Packers Prediction: KC wins
Chiefs vs. Packers Best Bet: u42.5 Total Points (-110)
NFL Week 13 Monday Night Football Predictions
Bengals vs. Jaguars Odds & Prediction
- Record: Cincinnati Bengals (5-6) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3)
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Location: EverBank Stadium (Jacksonville, FL)
- Spread: Bengals +8.5 (-110) | Jaguars -8.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 39 (-110) | UNDER 39 (-110)
- Moneyline: Bengals +320 | Jaguars -400
Instead of getting two of the best young QBs going head-to-head on Monday, we get to see Trevor Lawrence lead the Jaguars against… Jake Browning and the Bengals. Considering how Cincinnati only scored 10 points in Browning’s first career start last week, it’s safe to say that they’re missing Joe Burrow.
An 8.5-point spread seems like a wide margin, but five of the Jags’ eight wins this year came by 10 or more points. On top of that, the Bengals are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight AFC matchups, whereas Jacksonville is 5-0 ATS in its five previous conference tilts.
Having covered the spread in seven of their last eight outings, the Jaguars don’t have an excuse not to cover here.
Bengals vs. Jaguars Prediction: JAX wins
Bengals vs. Jaguars Best Bet: JAX -8.5 (-110)
