Week 8 is upon us and so are the Week 8 Touchdown Scorers. I’ve got 2 touchdown scorers, both with some good value. Let’s not waste any more time, let’s talk touchdowns.
Here are our best touchdown scorers in Week 8!
Brock Bowers Anytime Touchdown (+240) via BetOnline – Get a $500 WELCOME BONUS
First off, it’s National Tight End Day. On this very important holiday, we’ll have some of the best tight ends in the game taking the field. This matchup between the Chiefs and the Raiders will be especially big.
The greatest tight end of all time, Travis Kelce; matching up with the newest, and possibly current best tight in the NFL, Brock Bowers. Last week Bowers once again recorded double digit targets, catching 10 of his 14 targets for 93 yards and no scores.
Aidan O’Connell started the game for Vegas but he only played 14 offensive snaps before he suffered a broken throwing, hand. Minshew came in as the backup, recorded 154 yards 3 interceptions and recorded a completion percentage of 44%.
The Chiefs rank 31st in yards allowed to opposing tight ends, given up just two touchdowns on the year and Bowers is going to be the best tight end they’ve faced off with so far this year. Bowers has just the one touchdown on the season, and we’re hoping that changes on National Tight End Day.
Minshew’s played in 6 games this year, and he’s thrown just 4 passing touchdowns. This is going to be ugly and we’re in for an absolute sweat, but on National Tight End Day, against Travis Kelce and at (+240), I tapped the button.

George Pickens Anytime Touchdown (+180) via BetOnline
No one’s happier about Russell Wilson getting the start last week than George Pickens. Pickens caught 5 of his 9 targets for 111 yards, including a 44-yard bomb and 11-yard touchdown.
Russell Wilson targeted Pickens more than twice as much as any other receiver last week, and we know Russ loves throwing that deep ball.
From his time with the Seawhawks, having both Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf as his top two receivers; Russ knows how important trust is between a QB and his receivers. He looks to be developing that same type of relationship with George Pickens now.
Pittsburgh just hosted the Jets last week on Sunday Night, this week they host the Giants on Primetime this Monday. Their defense remains elite, giving up just over 14 points per game (2nd) and recording 13 takeaways on the year.
Russ loves throwing the ball deep. We saw him and Pickens connect on a 40+ yarder last week and we could be in store for more of the same this week. The Giants secondary is beat up and between the corners and safeties; they’ve got no more than 8 years of combined experience among 4 players.
Last week when Adoree Jackson went down against the Eagles, we saw Jalen Hurts target the Giants rookie almost immediately. He connected with AJ Brown on a 41-yard bomb down the sideline, resulting in six for the Eagles.
Over the L12 years, since Russ has been in the league, he’s thrown 172 passes of 40-yards or more, connecting on 62 of them. He leads the league in 40-yard pass attempts and he’s connecting.
This week it’s George Pickens turn to run one in from deep.
