It’s been a little rough with the touchdown scorers through 3 weeks, but I’m working on a new system and there’s a few guys I’m loving this week.
Here are our best touchdown scorers in Week 4!
Anthony Richardson to Score a Touchdown (+140) via BetOnline
The Colts were finally able to secure a win last week, beating the Chicago Bears 21-16, at home in Indianapolis. This week they host the best defense in football, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers come into this one with a perfect 3-0 record, allowing just 8.7 points per game and have yet to allow a rushing touchdown. TJ Watt has this Pittsburgh defense looking as scary as ever, and it’s the reason their still undefeated.
Through 3 weeks, the Steelers have beat up on Kirk Cousins, Bo Nix, and Justin Herbert; none of whom who I would call a ‘dual threat’ quarterback.
Anthony Richardson’s in his 2nd year but having played just 3 full games in his rookie year, he’s still learning a lot. Over the first 3 weeks, Richardson has an average completion rate of 49%, he’s thrown just 3 touchdowns and somehow thrown 6 interceptions.
Last week against the Bears, Indianapolis scored 3 rushing touchdowns, all 3 going to the team’s running backs.
Pittsburgh is giving up just 70 rushing yards per game and just 157.7 per game through the air; if the Colts are going to win this game, they’ll need Richardson to make a big play.
The spread on this game has been fluctuating between +2/+1 all week, telling me that we might see a closer game than bettors are thinking. The Steelers are popping up as the most bet team in the NFL for Week 5 and we all know how that goes.
I don’t know if the Colts have enough to upset the Steelers in this one, but I think that this is the week we see Anthony Richardson make them sweat.

The lack of a run game has become glaring for the Chicago Bears and it’s largely due to the lackluster play of D’Andre Swift. Swift is averaging 1.8 yards per carry, he invisible in the passing game and it’s abundantly clear, he’s just not the guy.
Bears’ backup, Roschon Johnson was inactive Week 1, didn’t play a single snap in Week 2, then finally played 33 snaps in Week 3; he saw 8 carries for 30 yards (3.9 YPC) and caught 4 of his 5 targets for 32 yards.
Johnson’s 33 snaps was 2nd among Bears’ running backs, Swift still leading the backfield with 48 snaps. He saw just 13 carries, recorded 20 yards (1.5 YPC) and caught just 2 of his 4 targets. Swift’s being phased out and it’s Roschon season in Chicago.
Bears’ insider, Jeremy Fowler, also eluded to the fact that Johnson could get a bit of an extended look this week against a Rams defense that has been terrible all over. The Rams are allowing 30 points per game this year, and have allowed the 2nd most rush yards in the NFL (177/game).
It’s the perfect time for Johnson to step up and hopefully bring this Bears’ run game back to life. Look for him to get in for six this week.

Jalen Hurts to Score a Touchdown (+125) via BetOnline
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles are 2-1 and everyone that was pushing the panic button after Week 2 can take a deep breath. The Eagles are loaded with talent, battling injuries, but still loaded with talent.
Philly will be without starting wideout, Devonta Smith this week due to a concussion he suffered last week against New Orleans. AJ Brown, however, is now questionable after sitting out last week’s game.
This week the Eagles are down in Tampa Bay to take on the Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers.
Tampa ranks 2nd last in rushing yards allowed to quarterbacks this year, allowing 46.7 yards per game on the ground and a league worst 3 rushing touchdowns to opposing QBs.
Jalen Hurts leads all QBs with 10 rush attempts in the redzone this year, and the Eagles lead the league in trips to the redzone (4.7 per game). Hurts is averaging just over 11 rush attempts per game, but he’s scored just 1 touchdown.
Both Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels were able to get into the endzone against Tampa and I predict we see more of the same from Jalen Hurts.
