It’s hard to believe that the 2024 NFL season has already hit its halfway point. The first nine weeks of the campaign are officially in the books, meaning we’re one step closer to Super Bowl LIX. Not only that, but it won’t be much longer before we know this season’s individual award winners — ranger from the Most Valuable Player to the Defensive Player of the Year.
Even though there’s still sometime before this year’s hardware is handed out, it’s never too early to check in on how NFL futures markets are shaping up.
Here’s a look at the latest 2024 NFL midseason awards odds before the Week 10 action.

2024 NFL Midseason Awards Odds Update
All NFL midseason awards odds are courtesy of BetOnline as of Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 10:58 a.m. ET. Odds from other sportsbooks may also be mentioned in this article.
NFL MVP Odds & Predictions 2024
- Lamar Jackson, BAL (+290)
- Josh Allen, BUF (+300)
- Patrick Mahomes, KC (+400)
- Jared Goff, DET (+850)
- Jayden Daniels, WAS (+900)
- Joe Burrow, CIN (+1400)
- Jalen Hurts, PHI (+1800)
- Kirk Cousins, ATL (+2800)
- Sam Darnold, MIN (+2800)
- Brock Purdy, SF (+3300)
Unsurprisingly, this year’s NFL MVP odds list is quarterback-heavy. Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has the best odds of any non-QB, clocking in at +3300 ahead of Week 10.
Quarterbacks tend to dominate the MVP picture and I don’t see this year being any different. Although Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have both done a great job at making their cases to take home the hardware, I’m going with Patrick Mahomes (+400) for my pick.
On paper, Mahomes has been having a significantly underwhelming season. He’s only averaging 242.8 passing yards per game and has thrown 11 touchdowns to nine interceptions in his first eight starts. Having said that, box score statistics don’t always reveal the full picture.
After all, it’s unlikely that the Chiefs would be a perfect 8-0 if it weren’t for Mahomes’ decision-making under center. Even if he hasn’t been torching opposing defenses, he’s still made key decisions and timely passes that have helped his team’s flawless record remain intact.
According to Tankathon, Mahomes and the Chiefs have the 16th-easiest remaining schedule this season. If they can take advantage of that fact, there’s a solid chance that the 29-year-old signal-caller will win his third MVP award.
NFL MVP Prediction: Patrick Mahomes (+400)
NFL Offensive Player of the Year Odds & Predictions 2024
- Derrick Henry, BAL (-160)
- Saquon Barkley, PHI (+300)
- Justin Jefferson, MIN (+750)
- Ja’Marr Chase, CIN (+1600)
- Lamar Jackson, BAL (+2500)
- CeeDee Lamb, DAL (+3300)
- Josh Allen, BUF (+3300)
- Kyren Williams, LAR (+5000)
- Jahmyr Gibbs, DET (+5000)
- Jayden Daniels, WAS (+5000)
I can’t bring myself to go against oddsmakers when it comes to this NFL midseason award. That’s why I’m also taking Derrick Henry to be named the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year.
Remember when people thought playing alongside Lamar Jackson would cause Henry’s rushing numbers to regress? Clearly that hasn’t happened.
The veteran RB is currently leading the NFL in carries (168), rushing yards (1,052), and touchdowns (11) after the first half of the campaign. If he doesn’t take his foot off the gas pedal, Henry has the perfect opportunity to smash his 2020 output.
While Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley has also been having a terrific season, it’s hard to imagine the OPOY award going to anyone but Henry at this point. Jump on his odds now before they grow even longer as the campaign continues.
NFL OPOY Prediction: Derrick Henry (-160)

NFL Defensive Player of the Year Odds & Predictions 2024
- T.J. Watt, PIT (-155)
- Chris Jones, KC (+1000)
- Trey Hendrickson, CIN (+1000)
- Nick Bosa, SF (+1200)
- Will Anderson Jr., HOU (+1400)
- Fred Warner, SF (+2000)
- Patrick Surtain II, DEN (+2000)
- Xavier McKinney, GB (+2000)
- Dexter Lawrence, NYG (+2000)
- Myles Garrett, CLE (+3300)
The 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year picture is also shaping up to be a one-horse race. Pittsburgh Steelers superstar defender T.J. Watt is the -155 favorite to win the award and I can’t say I disagree with those odds.
The six-time Pro Bowl linebacker has been up to his usual antics this season. He’s tallied 24 solo tackles, 6.5 sacks, two defended passes, and an NFL-leading four forced fumbles through his first eight appearances. That’s without mentioning how he’s Pro Football Focus‘ No. 1-graded linebacker in terms of run defense (93.2), No. 3 in pass rush (90.9), and No. 2 overall (93.7).
Barring a serious injury, I don’t see Watt losing this award race.
NFL DPOY Prediction: T.J. Watt (-155)
NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Odds & Predictions 2024
- Jared Verse, LAR (-215)
- Laiatu Latu, IND (+600)
- Edgerrin Cooper, GB (+1800)
- Quinyon Mitchell, PHI (+2000)
- Evan Williams, GB (+2000)
- Byron Murphy II, SEA (+2500)
- Cooper DeJean, PHI (+2500)
- Chop Robinson, MIA (+2800)
- Kamari Lassiter, HOU (+2800)
- T’Vondre Sweat, TEN (+2800)
Yet again we have another clear-cut favorite when it comes to the 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year race. Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Jared Verse is the -215 favorite to win the award, which carries an implied win probability of 68.3%.
With Aaron Donald retiring during the offseason, the Rams needed someone to step on defense. Fortunately, the ex-Florida State product has done just that.
Verse is constantly terrorizing offenses, resulting in 20 solo tackles, 3.5 sacks, one broken-up pass, and a forced fumble in his first eight games. He’s also PFF’s No. 12-graded exterior defender in terms of overall defense, highlighting how he’s been playing like a seasoned veteran despite being a rookie.
Much like Watt, the DROY race is Verse’s to lose at this point.
NFL DROY Prediction: Jared Verse (-215)

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds & Predictions 2024
- Jayden Daniels, WAS (-2500)
- Caleb Williams, CHI (+2000)
- Bo Nix, DEN (+2000)
- Brian Thomas Jr., JAX(+2500)
- Malik Nabers, NYG (+3300)
- Brock Bowers, LVR (+3300)
- Marvin Harrison Jr., ARI (+5000)
- Drake Maye, NE (+10000)
- Ladd McConkey, LAC (+10000)
- Xavier Worthy, KC (+15000)
There really isn’t much of a reason to discuss the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year situation. Unless he completely implodes down the stretch, Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (-2500) will likely walk away with the hardware at the end of the year.
Daniels has played a huge role in the Commanders’ early success, leading them to an NFC East-leading 7-2 record so far. The former LSU gunslinger has shown tremendous poise in the pocket, completing 71.5% of passes for 1,945 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions with a 106.7 passer rating.
The Commanders drafted Daniels second overall in April and part of that is because of what he can do on the ground. He’s lived up to the hype thus far, turning 82 carries into 459 rushing yards and another four scores.
Daniels looks like he’s poised to be a starting NFL QB for years to come. With that in mind, there’s no way he won’t win this award.
NFL OROY Prediction: Jayden Daniels (-2500)
NFL Comeback Player of the Year Odds & Predictions 2024
- Kirk Cousins, ATL (-105)
- Joe Burrow, CIN (+450)
- J.K. Dobbins, LAC (+550)
- Aaron Rodgers, NYJ (+900)
- Damar Hamlin, BUF (+900)
- Kyler Murray, ARI (+1100)
- Nick Chubb, CLE (+1200)
- Jamies Winston, CLE (+1400)
- Tank Dell, HOU (+6600)
- Sam Darnold, MIN (+7500)
After tearing his Achilles last season, Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins is BetOnline’s -105 favorite to be named the Comeback Player of the Year. The four-time Pro Bowl signal-caller has led the Falcons to a 6-3 start while completing 69.2% of his passes for 2,328 passing yards along with 17 TDs to seven INTs.
Having said that, Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (+550) is my pick to win the award.
Before the 2024 campaign, injuries had limited Dobbins to nine games between the 2020 and 2023 seasons. Naturally, fans wondered if he could ever have a healthy campaign.
Fast forward to now and Dobbins has tallied 620 rushing yards and six TDs on 126 carries before Week 10. He’s thriving under Jim Harbaugh’s run-heavy offense and as long as that continues, his CPOY odds will only improve.
NFL CPOY Prediction: J.K. Dobbins (+550)

NFL Coach of the Year Odds & Predictions 2024
- Dan Quinn, WAS (+200)
- Andy Reid, KC (+400)
- Dan Campbell, DET (+800)
- Mike Tomlin, PIT (+900)
- Sean Payton, DEN (+900)
- Kevin O’Connell, MIN (+900)
- Jim Harbaugh, LAC (+1200)
- Raheem Morris, ATL (+1400)
- Matt LaFleur, GB (+1400)
- Jonathan Gannon, ARI (+2000)
Nobody would bat an eye if Dan Quinn was named the 2024 NFL Coach of the Year. The defensive guru has coached the Washington Commanders to an impressive 7-2 start after the franchise averaged 6.1 victories in the seven previous seasons.
But while Quinn is more than deserving of the honors, I could see Denver Broncos HC Sean Payton winning this NFL award.
Nobody expected much from the Broncos this season, however, they’re fighting for an AFC playoff spot with a 5-4 record through nine games. Even though they have a tough remaining schedule, there’s a decent chance that they could qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2015.
Much of the Broncos’ early success stems from Payton coaching them into one of the league’s best defensive teams. Denver is only giving up 17.9 points (3rd) and 295.2 total yards (6th) per game while owning a plus-2.4 average scoring margin (13th).
If the Broncos’ offensive issues can be fixed, Payton’s Coach of the Year odds could quickly improve. With that in mind, it’s a good idea to sprinkle something on his odds before they jump up.
NFL COTY Prediction: Sean Payton (+900)
