Best Texans vs Ravens Player Prop — Saturday, Jan. 20 @ 4:30 p.m. ET
The Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens kick off the Divisional Round with a huge clash on Saturday afternoon. The Texans feel good after defeating the Cleveland Browns at NRG Stadium while the Ravens are ready to return to action following a first-round bye.
When it comes to a player prop that I like in this game, I have my eye on Lamar Jackson throwing for over 229.5 passing yards.
Jackson is known for his mobility on the ground, but he’s also a great passer. He averaged 229.9 passing yards per game during the regular season (second-best average of his career) and finished with the Over on this prop on seven separate occasions. What’s impressive is that four of those instances occurred in his last six starts alone — a span where he’s averaging 250.2 yards through the air.
The Texans’ defense has its moments now and then, but the unit still surrenders the ninth-most passing yards in the NFL. They’ve also surrendered at least 230 passing yards in nine of their 18 games so far, which includes allowing Joe Flacco to torch the secondary for 307 last week.
Considering how he threw for 321 yards against the Miami Dolphins the last time we saw him, Jackson is in a perfect spot for another huge day through the air come Saturday.
Best Texans vs Ravens Player Prop: Lamar Jackson o229.5 Passing Yards (-126)

Best Packers vs 49ers Player Prop — Saturday, Jan. 20 @ 8:15 p.m. ET
Nobody expected the Green Bay Packers to make the NFC Divisional playoffs, but here they are after a huge upset win over the Dallas Cowboys. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the San Francisco 49ers, who received a bye after finishing as the conference’s No. 1 seed.
With the Packers struggling to stop the run this season and the 49ers projected as 9.5-point favorites on the spread, it’s a no-brainer to take Christian McCaffrey to record over 92.5 rushing yards.

After the Cowboys failed to exploit the Packers’ below-average run defense, I don’t see the 49ers making the same mistake. They’re one of the best teams in the league on the ground, averaging the sixth-most rushing attempts, third-most rushing yards, and fourth-most yards per carry.
Unsurprisingly, McCaffrey has been at the center of this rushing success. The veteran running back is averaging a whopping 91.2 rushing yards per game and even though that’s the Under on this prop, he finished with at least 93 yards in 9-of-16 appearances (56.3%) and even hit the 100-yard mark in seven of those games.
Even though he’s only faced the Packers twice in his career, McCaffrey did rack up 108 rushing yards when he last faced them on Nov. 10, 2019.
After Green Bay surrendered 95.6 rushing yards per game to RBs during the regular season, expect more of the same from CMC.
Best Packers vs 49ers Player Prop: Christian McCaffrey o92.5 Rushing Yards (-126)

NFL Divisional Round Must-Bet Player Props Cont.
Best Buccaneers vs Lions Player Prop — Sunday, Jan. 21 @ 3 p.m. ET
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are another team that pulled off an upset last week, bouncing the Philadelphia Eagles out of the playoffs. The Detroit Lions, on the other side, will play their first NFL Divisional Round game since 1991 after surviving the LA Rams in the opening round.
I already covered this prop in my Buccaneers vs. Lions prediction, but I highly suggest backing Josh Reynolds to finish with over 38.5 receiving yards.
Amon-Ra St. Brown tends to steal most of the attention when it comes to Detroit’s wide receiver room, but don’t let force you to overlook Reynolds. The 28-year-old playmaker was a big part of the Lions’ win over the Rams, amassing 80 receiving yards on only four catches, which includes a 33-yard reception.
Reynolds has now come through on this prop in four of his last six games, as well as three consecutive home outings where he averaged 55 receiving yards per game. In fact, he’s hit the Over in more games (10) than he hasn’t (8) this season — including when he racked up 50 yards against Tampa Bay in Week 6.
Defending the pass is one area where the Buccaneers struggling, allowing the eighth-most receptions and fourth-most receiving yards to WRs, as well as the 11th-most yards per reception regardless of position.
As St. Brown likely garners most of the Buccaneers’ attention, look for Reynolds to make his mark with another solid performance.
Best Buccaneers vs Lions Player Prop: Josh Reynolds o38.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

Best Chiefs vs Bills Player Prop — Sunday, Jan. 21 @ 8:15 p.m. ET
For the third straight NFL postseason, the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are set to collide. Both teams picked up lopsided wins on Super Wild Card Weekend as the Chiefs routed the Miami Dolphins while the Bills firmly put the Pittsburgh Steelers in their place.
As far as the best player prop for this encounter, I like Josh Allen throwing for more than 1.5 passing touchdowns.
Allen to Knox and the @BuffaloBills take the early lead!

The 27-year-old gunslinger just threw three touchdown passes against the Steelers, marking the 10th time in 18 outings he’s accomplished the feat this season. Furthermore, the Over on this prop is 7-3 in his 10 outings at Highmark Stadium this season.
Facing the Chiefs also tends to bring out the best in Allen. He’s thrown for multiple TDs in three of his four career meetings with Kansas City and finished with a pair in his lone home meeting with Andy Reid’s team.
Even if the weather plays a factor, Allen is more than used to playing winter football in Buffalo at this point. Look for him to step up again against the Chiefs, delivering on this prop one more time.
Best Chiefs vs Bills Player Prop: Josh Allen 01.5 Passing TDs (+102)
