See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe New Orleans Saints head to Dallas after nearly 400 yards of offense and a 37-point blowout against the Panthers in Week 1. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are coming off a commanding 33-17 victory over the Browns, racking up over 100 rushing yards against a strong defense. Both teams look to improve their 1-0 records to 2-0.

Saints vs Cowboys Predictions
The Stank:
Let me cut to the chase: The Saints will not replicate their success against the league’s worst team.
Putting up 400 yards of offense is impressive, but what does it really mean against the league’s worst defense? Carolina’s offense has shown no improvement from last season, and their defense, which struggled with pass rush a year ago, managed only one sack against the Saints. This is essentially the same Panthers team as last year.
Following their dominating performance, New Orleans now faces a much tougher challenge in Dallas, where the Cowboys’ offense excelled last year, averaging 36.8 points per game at home. Despite amassing just 265 total yards, the Cowboys performed exceptionally well against one of the league’s best defenses. Scoring 33 points against Cleveland is particularly impressive, especially given that Dallas struggled with road scoring last season.
Dallas’ defense lived up to the hype in Week 1, allowing just 169 passing yards, holding Cleveland to under 100 rushing yards, limiting the Browns to 3.3 yards per play, and sacking Deshaun Watson six times.
Given the Cowboys’ impressive Week 1 performance, they are likely too much for the Saints to handle. The line, currently at -6.5, is expected to move by Sunday, so it’s wise to act now. I believe Dallas will win by at least ten points, so keep that in mind when placing your bets.
Prediction: Cowboys win
