The Los Angeles Rams are far from home in Ohio as they are in Cincinnati to take on the 0-2 Bengals.
After two weeks of play, the Los Angeles Rams are 1-1, with a surprising Week 1 upset. The Rams went into Seattle and upset the Seahawks 30-13 without Cooper Kupp. Last week, the Rams hosted the 49ers and put up a fight, but ultimately fell 30-23 in SoFi.
Tonight they take on the Bengals who are looking for their first win of the season.
Cincinnati failed to score a touchdown in Week 1 in Cleveland, losing 24-3 to the Browns. Last week the Bengals played another divisional rival as they hosted the Ravens, and could not get it done, losing 27-24.
Quarterback Joe Burrow’s status is a huge question mark as it is reported that the Bengals signed former QB A.J. McCarron to the squad.
Let’s break this game down!

Will We See Burrow?
We have not yet seen an indication from the Bengals on whether or not this guy is going to play tonight, however with him being listed as questionable, along with the signing of former QB A.J. McCarron, I have a feeling we won’t see Mr. Burrow.
And if we do, I’m sure he will be somewhat restricted, and definitely not 100%.
TE Irv Smith Jr. is also listed as doubtful on the injury report, hindering the Bengals attack even more.
This is rematch of the 2021 Super Bowl featuring the Bengals and the Rams, where Los Angeles walked away as Super Bowl Champions.
Cincinnati is averaging just 13.5 points per game this season, and this Rams defense might be tough to score against.
They only allowed 13 points in Seattle in Week 1, and were about to cover +7.5 against the Niners. This is certainly a “bounce back” spot at home for the Bengals, and I’ll admit it’s tough to imagine them starting off 0-3.
With that being said, I will stay away from a side in this one, and instead I’ll just take the under.
The Pick: LAR/CIN Under 43.5 (-110) Bovada
No Points Tonight
I don’t this game sees more than 20 points on either side.
An exact prediction? Let’s say Bengals 21-17 for fun.
It’s hard to picture them starting off 0-3, even if Burrow is sidelined. Mixon, Chase and Higgins are too good of an offensive core to be in that position.
I think this is an ugly game with several turnovers. I think the defenses hold strong in Cincy tonight, causing this game to stay under the total.
Primetime unders are 7-2 this season, but I’m not worried about that trend breaking with these two squads tonight. The Rams have produced over 400 yards of offense per game this year, but in a hostile environment on national television, I think they get a little rattled.
Look for this game to stay under, and here are some of the best NFL prop bets for today!
NFL Player Prop Bets
Matthew Stafford Interception (-117) Bovada
Stafford threw two picks last weekend against the Niners, defense, and although this Bengals secondary lost some personnel, but they still force QBs into bad decisions.
Deshaun Watson threw for just 154 yards and a pick in Week 1. Lamar Jackson only threw for 237 when they lost to the Ravens. Tonight, Stafford will throw plenty, and he will let at least one get away from him.
Prior to Week 2, Stafford had gone four games without throwing an interception. Before that, he had 8 picks in just 6 games of play.
Stafford can be a impulsive from times, and he’s known to throw picks in games where he throws the ball.
Dating back to last season, if Stafford threw the ball more than 33 times, he threw a pick in every game.
Tonight I think he throws plenty, and one ends up in the hands of the Bengals defense.
