See Picks & Statistics For The GameMonday Night Football is back in Los Angeles as the Chargers host the Cowboys for some primetime action on ESPN.
The Chargers have had some extra rest coming off a bye week, and should be fully prepared to host the Cowboys, who have lost 2 of their last 3.
They are clearly feeling the los of Trevon Diggs on defense, as they allowed 42 points to the 49ers last weekend.

Free NFL Picks: Cowboys vs Chargers
To be quite honest, I have no clue who wins this game.
Hand up, no side from me in this one.
This could be a “get right” game for the Cowboys coming off a bad loss. But the Chargers are sitting at 2-2 and looking to make a playoff push. I don’t think home field advantage comes into play too much, but in their L2 road games, the Cowboys are 0-2, being outscored 70-26.
Now, when the offense has clicked, it’s really come together. In the other 3 games, Dallas has scored 40, 30, and 38, allowing just 10 from their opponents.
It will be interesting to see which Cowboys team takes the field tonight.
On the Chargers’ side of things, they continuously shoot themselves in the foot and deal with injuries. They lost Mike Williams and now need Quentin Johnston and Josh Palmer to support Keenan Allen in the passing game.
Los Angeles lost two close ones to open the season, and then are coming off back to back close wins and a bye week. The Chargers should keep their mojo going, but again, this Dallas defense is tough to beat.
No side from me, no total either, but let’s talk some props.
Best NFL Player Prop Bets
Brandin Cooks over 35.5 Receiving yards (-112) Bovada
Brandin Cooks has not cleared this line once this year. Four games played, and not once has he even touched 30 yards. Until tonight.
Cooks has seen an increase in workload each game in terms of snap count, playing an average of 70% of Dallas’ offensive snaps.
He’s also seen 4+ targets in every single game he’s played in. He caught all 4 of his target a couple weeks ago against New England, and saw 7 targets on the road in Arizona.
But the Chargers have the worst passing defense in the NFL.
They rank dead last in Opp Pass Yards, allowing 299.8 per game. They are 29th in Opp Pass Attempts, letting teams throw the ball nearly 40 times a game, and are 27th in Opp Passing TDs, giving up 1.75 per game.
If Dak throws this ball 40 times, he’s going to find Cooks at least 4-5 times, and one of them will be a deep ball. That should be plenty to get over this line.
Again, Cooks has posted 22, 17, 27, and 7 receiving yards this year. So why is his line set at 36.5?
I’ll put on my tinfoil hat and tell you all it’s because he’s going for 50+ tonight and I think that could be worth a sprinkle at +182.
