After suffering a Week 16 loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Lions bounced back with a 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears last weekend. Veteran running back Jamaal Williams was the star of the show as he rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, helping Detroit win for the seventh time in the last nine games.

Detroit is also 3-17 straight up in its last 20 road games against Green Bay and 3-13-1 in its last 17 away games overall, making it that much harder to trust the Lions.

At the end of the day, the Packers have been in this do-or-die position before and that experience will be the difference-maker. The Lions still have a lot to learn and while they showed a ton of improvements this year, they’ll need to wait until next season to make the playoffs.
