We’re less than 24 hours from the first official Sunday of the NFL Season. Seems like it’s been forever since we had a Sunday full of pigskin.
So many great matchups to kick off the year, but if you’re looking for offense, look no further than the Dolphins vs. Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
Two great QBs, weapons all over the field, and two offensive minded coaches; should be a lot of fun. Let’s get into it.

Dolphins vs. Chargers Breakdown & Best Bets
First Sunday of the season, and this is the highest total on the board. Tua and the Dolphins are travelling to sunny Los Angeles to take on Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
When these two teams met last year, the Chargers were able to keep this Miami pass attack at bay. Holding Tua to just 10 completions for 145 yards.
This Dolphins struggled to move the ball and lost the game 23-17, in what was expected to be a much higher scoring game.
On the other side, Herbert finished with 39 completions for 367 yards but just one touchdown. Its Week One, so fresh legs and rested stars should equal more offense, right?
Here are our best bets!
Dolphins vs. Chargers Best Bets
Keenan Allen o67.5 Receiving Yards (-115) via Bovada
Keenan Allen played 10 games last season, but only saw a full snap count in eight of those games. He was hurt Week 1 against the Raiders after playing just 22 snaps. He finished with 4 Rec on 4 Tgts for 66 yards.
Allen played nine games with a full snap count, including the playoffs. Of those nine games, he saw 8+ targets in seven games, and double digit targets in five.
He’s Justin Herbert’s favorite target, and the release valve of this offense. He’s their most sure handed receiver, and we’ve seen Herbert lean on him in big moments.
Allen’s cleared this line in 6 of his L9 games, including 92 yards on 14 Tgts vs this same Dolphins team last year. He averaged 83 yards/game @ home last year, when he didn’t leave the game injured.
The Dolphins secondary is a scary one, even with Jalen Ramsay watching from the sideline. Last year saw this defense give up the 5th most passing yards to QBs and with Ramsay still on the sideline, I love the spot for Allen.

Tyreek Hill Anytime Touchdown (+110)
Tyreek Hill is coming of a down season, scoring wise. He scored just seven touchdowns last year in 17 games. Last time he scored jus seven was back in 2019 and Hill missed four games.
Last year was a great first year for Tyreek with the Dolphins, he finished 119 Receptions and 1700+ yards; despite Tua only playing 13 games AND leaving two games hurt.
Despite only playing 13 games, Tua still put up 25 touchdowns, and lead the league in QB rating (105.5). Big reason was the weapons he has on this offense.
Tyreek’s also familiar with this Chargers team, having played his whole career in Kansas City. He’s played them 12 times, averaging 73.3 yards/game and scored 11 touchdowns.
He’s also scored in 5 of his 7 career games on the road, vs the Chargers; including last season while he was with the Dolphins.
Let’s see if we can get Tyreek to throw up the Peace sign one time for the boys.
