The Washington Commanders travel to Colorado to take on the Denver Broncos in Week 2 of some NFL action.
After beating the Cardinals at home in Week 1, Washington now has to face a Broncos team on the road that are extremely motivated to win.
Denver is 0-1 after losing by 1 to AFC West rival, the Las Vegas Raiders, last Sunday at home. Sean Payton tried an onside kick to open his campaign as the Broncos’ Head Coach, and 4 quarters later he lost to Jimmy G.
Will the Broncos bounce back at home? Or can the Commanders spoil their hopes and get a big road upset to start 2-0?

Commanders vs Broncos Best Bets
I’m not sure how much longer Broncos fans take the “Russell Wilson” experiment. The guy hasn’t looked solid in their uniform yet, and it’s clear he is far from elite.
Coaching, defense, and the players around the QB can only take you so far. At some point you’ve got to look your team in the mirror and deicide if the old, veteran QB who hasn’t been elite in a few years is up for the task.
I think Sean Payton and Wilson find a way to win this game, but it’s not because of how good they are.
It’s more of how average and mediocre the Commanders are.
I’ll take Washington to keep this within a FG on the road.
The Pick: Commanders +3.5 (-110) Bovada
NFL Prop Bets Today
Jahan Dotson Anytime TD (+290) Bovada
Dotson has solidified himself as one of Howell’s go to targets, especially without McLaurin on the field. Scary Terry is back, but I still think Dotson could get his catches and find the endzone.
He had 5 receptions for 40 yards last week, and has seen 3+ catches in six straight games. He has touchdowns in 3 of those 6 games, and I think he and Howell connect this week to get it done.
Denver allowed Jimmy G to toss 2 Passing TDs last week at Mile High, and this week I could see Howell throwing one to our guy Dotson.
Bonus Pick: Dotson over 3.5 Receptions (-124)
