See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up to pay the Cleveland Browns a visit in Week 12. Both teams have failed to meet expectations this season and time is running out if they hope to make the playoffs. A victory here is absolutely crucial, making this Buccaneers vs Browns showdown one of the more important NFL games of the week.
The Buccaneers are feeling well-rested after having last week off. Considering how they won back-to-back games before their bye, it’ll be interesting to see if they can pick up from where they left off or not. With a healthier roster than before, it’s up to Tampa Bay to prove its worth down the stretch.
Meanwhile, the Browns hope to find success after losing 31-23 to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The outcome marks the sixth time in the last seven games that Kevin Stefanski’s team has lost, meaning he needs to get his players on the same page to salvage their season before it’s too late.
Betting News has gathered the latest Buccaneers vs Browns odds from BetOnline Sportsbook to help shed some light on the situation, along with a prediction and best bets for the NFL Week 12 game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Cleveland Browns Prediction and Picks
Buccaneers vs Browns Prediction: Buccaneers 23, Browns 17
Buccaneers vs Browns Picks: Buccaneers -3.5 (Best Value: -104 at BetOnline) & Under 42.5 Points (Best Value: -104 at BetOnline)
Even playing at home, it’s hard to like the Browns this weekend. They’ve had issues on both sides of the ball throughout the season, however, the defense has been particularly bad lately.
Over the last seven games, opponents have been scoring an average of 28.1 points against the Browns — the most in the NFL over that span. The team just hasn’t been able to keep the ball out of its end zone, allowing at least 30 points in four of the last six games alone.
On one hand, it isn’t like the Buccaneers have been an offensive powerhouse this season. Despite the talent on the roster, the Bucs only operate at an 18.3 PPG clip (No. 27). Furthermore, they’ve only hit 30-plus points once this season while each of their five wins has involved them scoring anywhere between 16 and 21 points.
On the other hand, this is a Brady-led offense we’re talking about. The ageless gunslinger just completed 75.9% of his passes for 258 passing yards with a pair of touchdowns and a pick against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10 and now gets to face a Browns secondary allowing the sixth-most passing yards (246.8) at home this season.
While Brady didn’t have a healthy pass-catching room, that isn’t the case now. Aside from Russell Gage being questionable with a hamstring injury, all other wideouts and tight ends seem good to go.
There’s a chance that the Bucs could be without running back Leonard Fournette (hip), however, they have rookie rusher Rachaad White to make up for his absence. The 23-year-old rushed for 105 yards on 22 carries against the Seahawks and could repeat that against the Browns, who allowed 174 yards on the ground to the Bills.
At the end of the day, it’s going to be hard for Cleveland to get anything going offensively. Not only does Tampa Bay allow the fifth-fewest passing yards, but Todd Bowles’ squad also boasts the No. 5 run defense on the road.
The Buccaneers should be able to take advantage of the Browns’ shortcomings to extend their win streak to three games. There’s just no stopping Brady on a mission, especially when he’s 7-1 straight up in eight all-time matchups against Cleveland.
For the best bets, one involves taking the Bucs at -3.5 on the spread. Even the consistency hasn’t been there this season, Tampa Bay is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the last five Buccaneers vs Browns matchups. Furthermore, Cleveland is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games.
I’m also backing the total going under 42.5 points. As mentioned before, the Buccaneers have been involved in low-scoring games all season long, seeing the under in five of their last six games. With the Browns experiencing the under in each of their last five games against the Bucs, I’m inclined to back another low-scoring affair this weekend.
