See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe NFL Week 13 schedule ends on Dec. 4 when the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Jacksonville Jaguars for this week’s Monday Night Football showdown.
Life has been hard for the Bengals, whose 16-10 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week marked their third loss in a row. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are gunning for their third consecutive victory after holding on for a 24-21 win over the rival Houston Texans.
The Jags have some of the better Super Bowl LVIII odds over on BetOnline, coming in at +1600 (8th). On the flip side, the Bengals — viewed as championship contenders before the 2023 season began — are available at +15000 those odds (T-22nd).
You've come to the right place if you’re trying to get in on some betting action tonight. This betting preview has everything you need to know, ranging from my Bengals vs Jaguars prediction and best bets to the latest trends and MNF odds.

Bengals vs Jaguars Prediction & Best Bet: NFL Week 13 MNF
Once viewed as championship contenders, life hasn’t been easy for the Bengals since starting QB Joe Burrow underwent season-ending wrist surgery.
After all, the Bengals lost the two subsequent games following Burrow’s injury, getting outscored 50-30 on aggregate in defeat. It’s also the first time since Weeks 3 and 4 that Cincinnati scored 20 or fewer points in back-to-back games, highlighting just how greatly the offense is affected without the team’s No. 1 signal-caller.
Backup QB Jake Browning just hasn’t been as effective as Burrow under center. The rookie signal-caller has a 67.5% completion rate while averaging just 147.5 passing yards in two starts this season, throwing two touchdowns to one interception along the way.
It’ll be interesting to see what he can do against a Jacksonville defense that allows only 238.0 passing yards per game (11th-fewest), which drops to 211.2 at EverBank Stadium.
Speaking of offense, the Jaguars’ attack has been clicking since the Week 10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Doug Pederson’s team has scored 58 points in the last two games alone, which is made possible by quarterback Trevor Lawrence averaging 313.0 passing yards with a 103.6 QB rating in those contests.
Fortunately for Lawrence, the Bengals secondary has been generous to opposing QBs, allowing an average of 294.2 passing yards in their last six games.
The Jaguars also have the benefit of this game being played at EverBank Stadium, where the Bengals have lost eight of their last 10 visits. In fact, Cincinnati hasn’t won in Jacksonville since September 2012, most recently falling 23-7 during the latest visit six years ago.
This game would be more competitive if Burrow was playing, but that isn’t the case. With a downgraded offense and the defense struggling to prevent points, it’s clear that the Bengals aren’t in the position to beat the Jaguars tonight — especially on the road.
But can the home team cover the spread? I believe so.
After all, the Jaguars are 8-3 ATS this season, which includes going 7-1 ATS in their last eight outings. The Bengals, on the flip side, are only 4-6-1 ATS on the year and have failed to cover the spread in each of their latest three outings. After Cincinnati lost its last road game by 14 points, it looks like another double-digit defeat is in the cards tonight.
Bengals vs Jaguars Prediction: JAX wins
Bengals vs Jaguars Best Bet: JAX -10 (-107 on BetOnline)
Best Bengals vs Jaguars Player Prop: NFL Week 13 MNF
As for tonight’s best Bengals vs. Jaguars player prop, let’s take Trevor Lawrence to record Over 242.5 passing yards.
For starters, Lawrence hasn’t struggled to make good on this prop. Not only is he averaging 249.6 passing yards this season, but he’s also finished with the Over in three of his last four games — including when he finished with 364 last week.
Considering how the Bengals have allowed 243-plus passing yards in each of their last six games, I’d be shocked if this prop bet doesn’t hit by the final whistle.
