Week 15 of the NFL regular season will kick off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, the top two teams in the NFC West. The game will kick off at 8:15 pm ET (5:15 pm local time), and you can catch all of the action on Amazon Prime Video.
After riding Mr. (No Longer) Irrelevant to back-to-back wins, the 49ers (9-4, 3-3 away) will go into Thursday’s contest with the Seahawks (7-6, 3-3 home) on the cusp of closing out their first NFC West title since 2019.
In Week 2, San Francisco defeated Seattle 27-7 at Levi’s Stadium, and a win at Lumen Field will secure the head-to-head tiebreaker and give them a three-game lead with three games remaining.
A win would make the Niners the first team to clinch a division title this season, while the AFC West and NFC North could be wrapped up this weekend.
Will San Francisco take care of business, or will Seattle keep the division title race going for at least one more week? Read on for our 49ers vs Seahawks prediction, as well as our betting picks for this week’s TNF tilt.

Will San Francisco Continue to Thrive Despite Injuries?
Since a so-so start, the 49ers have won six straight games. Out of the bunch, Sunday’s dismantling of Tom Brady and the Bucs might have been the most impressive one, even beyond the Week 13 win over the Miami Dolphins.
On offense, QB Brock Purdy was excellent in his first NFL start, and Christian McCaffrey ran for a season-high 119 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Defensively, they intercepted Brady twice and forced three turnovers overall, and they held the Bucs scoreless for over 57 minutes.
The only stain on the day was Deebo Samuel being carted off in the second quarter with a leg injury. But unlike other injuries they have faced this season, the Niners got some good fortune with the news that it is just an MCL sprain and an ankle sprain and not something much more serious.
Samuel almost certainly won’t be available against Seattle even though he is currently listed as questionable.
But based on how the 49ers have responded anytime they have been hit by the injury bug this season, there’s no reason to let this latest hit affect your confidence in San Francisco.
It doesn’t hurt when you have capable players to fill every possible void. The next man up has delivered time and again for San Francisco, and that is likely to continue in Seattle.
There is some mild concern around the health of Purdy, who is listed as day-to-day with an oblique injury. But as it stands, the rookie out of Iowa State is set to start on Thursday.
San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks Prediction and Picks
49ers vs Seahawks Prediction: 49ers to win
49ers vs Seahawks Picks: 49ers to cover (Best Value: -3.5 @ -105 at Bovada Sportsbook & BetMGM) & 49ers team total over (Best Value: over 23.5 @ -110 at BetOnline)
If you feel confident about San Francisco winning, then you should feel confident about backing them to cover.
The Niners have won only one game by single digits this season, their 22-16 win over the Chargers in Week 10. In their other wins, they have won by 20, 15, 22, 17, 28, 13, 16, and 28.
Conversely, all of Seattle’s losses this season have come by at least four points.
Also, the Seahawks have allowed 27 or more points in all but one loss this season, which was their 21-16 loss to the Bucs in Munich, Germany in Week 10.
That syncs up well with the fact that the 49ers have scored 27 or more points in six of their nine wins this season (24, 22, and 13 in the other three).
