2022-23 NFL Team Odds to Make Playoffs and Predictions

The 2021 NFL playoffs provided plenty of stories, as the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl, and the Cincinnati Bengals shocked the AFC.

The 2022-23 regular season schedule has been released, and it may be a good idea to start looking at NFL futures bets. Earlier this week, we took a look at the Over/Under win totals for the upcoming season. This time, we will be taking a look at the odds for each team to make the playoffs in the upcoming season.

As always, certain teams will yield greater value, and it is a good idea to start paying attention to the lines now. Odds will shift as we approach the start of the regular season. Below are the current odds according to BetOnline.

2022-23 NFL Playoff Predictions

Indianapolis Colts -180

The Colts have a brand new quarterback this year. Matt Ryan will be under center for Indianapolis. He has plenty of playoff experience, and he has appeared in a Super Bowl in his career.

They also have one of the best young running backs, Jonathan Taylor. Taylor had over 1800 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground in 2021. He is taking 70% of snaps, and his workload is not limited.

With a revamped offense, I see Indianapolis as a true contended in the AFC South this year. The value is there, as the division is set to be tight. Grab the Colts before their value decreases, as this offseason is a big indicator of the power Indianapolis has on offense.

Cincinnati Bengals -115

The Bengals have improved their offensive line, after their most productive season in the last 30 years. The defending AFC Champions have one of the best young offenses in the league, and their defense has gotten them to the point where they are considered a threat in the AFC.

Joe Burrow has protection going into his 3rd year as the starter. With the additions to the offensive unit, this team is a contender for the division title for the second straight season.

At -115 the Bengals are showing value early in the year. With a team capable of winning 10+ games this season, they are a solid bet with great return.

Los Angeles Rams -270

As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Rams are undervalued to make the postseason again. They are the favorite to win their division, but compared to teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their line has a ton of value.

The Rams are bringing back almost all of their starters, and their Over/Under win total is set at 10.5. The stage is set for the Rams to have as good of a season as they had last year.

-270 is extremely favorable for bettors. As the defending champions, I would expect this number to be higher. However, with the. league having a ton of moves during the offseason, it. has messed with the odds slightly. Take the Rams to make the playoffs again before their value goes down.
