Free NCAAF Picks: Stanford vs Colorado
This was a game Colorado has been projected to win well before the first game of the season. Stanford at home was always a game the Buffalos should’ve won.
Now they are 11.5 point favorites on national television for some Friday Night Football action.
I lean with Colorado, however, I don’t have the faith to back them on the spread, but what I will be doing to taking the under.
I think 60 points in this one is a little too high, and I’m not sure Stanford helps the total get over very much.
This should be a low scoring, ugly game, which will disappoint viewers, but hopefully help our bankroll.
Stanford’s lone win came against Hawaii in Week 1, where they put up a season high 37 points. They’ve struggled to score since.
They lost @ USC scoring just 10 points, lost to Sacramento State scoring just 23, and then fell to Arizona and Oregon, scoring just 20 and 6 in those games.
The offense is not there, and I don’t think it shows up against Colorado.
The Pick: Stanford/Colorado Under 59.5 (-110) Bovada
This Stanford Defense hasn’t necessarily stopped anybody, but we’ve seen Colorado struggle to score.
The Cardinal allow 35 points per game to opponents, but I don’t think they help contribute to the total on offense. I also don’t think the Buffalos put up 30 either.
Colorado gives up 34 points of their own, but again, I do not trust this Stanford offense to score.
I think ESPN gets a really boring game on Friday Night, because this matchup should never have been a Primetime game anyways, regardless of who is coaching.
