See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe last weekend of the college football regular season is here and we’ve got a few final SEC Showdowns, including this one in Baton Rouge! The Texas A&M Aggies are in town to take on the #14 LSU Tigers and Heisman Favorite, Jayden Daniels.
The Aggies just fired Head Coach Jimbo Fischer, but will continue to pay him until my hypothetical kids are starting college. This is the current nature of college sports.
Do the Aggies stand a chance at finishing this horrendous season on a high note? Or do Daniels and the Tigers give them a good old fashioned, SEC smack down?
Let’s breakdown this game and find out!

Free NCAA Football Picks: Texas A&M vs LSU
While the spread does seem a bit too large for my liking, I think the Tigers roll.
The Aggies are already bowl eligible, so they don’t need a win for those reasons, however they would like something to smile about this season.
Texas A&M is 0-3 in road games this year, and it will likely be 0-4 after tomorrow. The Tigers are a great football team, they’ve bounced back since losing to Alabama, and have not lost a game at home this year.
I really like the Tigers to roll, but I’ll be backing them on the defensive side.

LSU Tigers Defense
Look, the Tigers defense isn’t necessarily anything to write home about. They give up 420 yards of offense per game, and nearly 30 points. But, they have been very good recently, and the home/away splits are clearly in our favor.
Like I said, LSU allows 29.3 PPG this season, but at home, that number drops all the way down to 19.6. They make teams uncomfortable in Baton Rouge.
Max Johnson has stepped up to play QB for the Aggies, but it hasn’t gone well. He is 2-3 as the starter, and has a 9-5 TD-INT ratio. That simply won’t get it done in the SEC.
Gimme the Tigers defense to shutdown any sort of offense from the Aggies.

Logan Diggs over 40.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Logan Diggs followed Brian Kelly to LSU, and although he has missed some games for injury, he has certainly helped the Tigers offense.
Diggs has cleared this line in 6/8 games this season, and 17/27 collegiate career games. The dude runs like a bowling ball and will certainly see some touches if the Tigers blow out the Aggies, which they should.
This is a low line, and one that he has cleared in as little as 9 carries. Now, Diggs has only seen 14 carries combined over the last 2 games, but I think he sees an extra load against the Aggies.
Texas A&M allows 120 rushing yards on the ground, and with Daniels’ line being so high, I’ll lean on Diggs to get over his.
