After starting off 2-0, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel to Raleigh to take on the NC State Wolfpack!
Sam Hartman looked phenomenal in both games for the Irish, but so did Brennan Armstrong in his debut with NC State.
The Virginia transfer threw for 155 yards and ran for 96 and 2 TDs as they beat UCONN 24-14.
He might need to do a bit more passing to keep up with this Notre Dame offense that’s scoring 49 points per game and haven’t allowed a touchdown.

Can the Wolfpack Contain Hartman, Estime?
The Wolfpack defense will have their hands cutout for them.
In two games, Sam Hartman is 33/40 for 445 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also didn’t play much of the 2nd half last week.
Running back Audric Estime is also a force to be reckoned with. He has 29 carries for 211 yards on the ground including 3 touchdowns. The Notre Dame offense is clicking, and NC State will be forced to stop them.
I think the NC State will contain Notre Dame enough to keep this game in the low 20s.
The Pick: Notre Dame/NC State under 50.5 (-110) Bovada
Player Props
Brennan Armstrong Anytime Touchdown (+140) Bovada
Armstrong found the endzone twice against UCONN, and I think he might do the same against Notre Dame at home.
He only had 26 passing attempts last week, and rushed the ball nearly 20 times. Armstrong actually had more rushes (19) than completions (17).
Nevertheless, the Wolfpack like to pound the ball on the ground, and close to the goal line I think they could give their QB the call. He was their leading rusher in both attempts and yards, and I think we see that continue.
Notre Dame already played a rush heavy team in Navy and smoked them, but NC State is much superior and can hold their own on both sides of the ball.
Dating back to last season, even with Virginia, Armstrong scored 6 TDs last year with two multi-TD games in his last 3 overall.
I think he punches one in on Saturday.
Sam Hartman over 236.5 Passing Yards (-115) Bovada
Hartman had 251 yards on just 23 attempts and 19 completions against Navy, and he didn’t even need to pass the ball that often.
Against the Wolfpack, I think he’s going to be throwing a lot more.
Hartman has cleared this number in 9 straight games, excluding last week against Tennessee State, and 12 if his L13. In the one game he didn’t clear he still had 234.
NC State will look to limit Estime and the Notre Dame running game, which will open up the secondary for Hartman to find open receivers.
I think 237 is more than attainable, and I think he could see 250 at least if the Wolfpack keep it close.
