The Fighting Irish are coming off a big win at Duke, and now they face Louisville who is no slouch at all.
The Cardinals are ranked after start off 5-0 and absolutely annihilating opponents. They are winning by an average of nearly 20 points per game, and at Cardinals Stadium, they are outscoring opponents 112-28, scoring 8 Touchdowns in each home game.
Louisville is coming off a big away win against NC State, and are eager to prove to the country that they are the real deal.
Notre Dame is back on track after their loss to Ohio State, and with their eyes still set on the College Football Playoff, the Irish need to focus up and get this one.

Will the Cardinals Upset Irish at Home?
I think this is going to be a very competitive game, and I’m excited for this matchup. Notre Dame pulled off the late win and cover on the road against the Blue Devils, but will we see the same magic from them?
The Irish allow over 130 rushing yards per game, and establishing an early run game with RB Jawhar Jordan would take a lot of pressure off Jake Plummer.
I think these defenses come to play and rattle both QBs, keeping this one low scoring.
In my mind, a low scoring game definitely benefits the Cardinals, so I think they pound the ground, eat up some clock, and make sure their defense is fresh every time to face Hartman and Audric Estime.
I’ll take this one to stay under, but boy I am ready for a sweat, so just a half unit on this total.

Jawhar Jordan over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-114) Bovada
Jordan cashed for us in the very first week for two units, but he did so on a 74 yard garbage rush in the 4th quarter. He ended up with 96 total rushing yards in that opening game.
In his next three, he had 282 combined, posting 113+ in each one.
Now, last week against NC State, he only had 32 on 16 touches, but the Wolfpack’s rush defense is very good. He busted 135 yards in just 7 carries in his first game at Cardinal Stadium this year.
As I said, I think Louisville tries to establish the run early against this Notre Dame defense that struggles to defend the run. The Irish allowed Riley Leonard to run for 88 yards, and Jaquez Moore added 51, both guys busting out a 30+ yard run.
Against Ohio State, they allowed 104 yards and 1 Touchdown to TreVeyon Henderson, including a 61 yard rush.
I’m okay with betting on this great RB to shine against this bad Irish rushing defense.
