This game has quickly become the most talked about football game happening this week. Forget the NFL, Nebraska is playing Colorado and Coach Deion Sanders in his home opener in Boulder.
Colorado just upset the National Runner Up TCU Horned Frogs as 20 point under dogs last Saturday.
Studs Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter showed out in their Power 5 debut. Sanders set a school record with 510 passing yards and 4 TDs, while Hunter looked like an All American on both sides of the ball.
One thing is for sure, Deion and the Buffs are legit, but will Nebraska halt their momentum?
Colorado vs Nebraska Game Information
Nebraska lost another heartbreaker to Minnesota in Week 1. The Cornhuskers have now lost 6 of their last 9 games by a single score. They have also won their last two by one score.
Nebraska plays their heart out but can’t seem to get over the hump.
Beating the most hyped up team at home would certainly turn the emotions around in Lincoln.
But did you see the Buffalos on Saturday? Who is stopping them?
Even true freshman Dylan Edwards had 177 all purpose yard and 4 touchdowns.
They have playmakers all over the field.
It will take all of Nebraska to stop them.

Colorado vs Nebraska Best Bets
Quite frankly, I can’t really give a play on this spread.
Colorado was an 8 point underdog to open this game, and now they are 3 point favorites.
This is clearly a reaction to the upset over TCU, but it might just be a market correction.
Even if I think Colorado covers the spread, I simply can’t bet the number because of the steam.
I view it as I missed out on the best numbers, or any good numbers for that matter, if they cover, good for them.
I don’t need to bet -3 when I could’ve gotten +7 a few days ago based off of one football win.
However, I do think Nebraska struggles to score and could be a tougher defensive opponent than TCU.
The total seems like a lot, but we saw what this offense can do, so I’m steering clear.
Player Props
Shedeur Sanders over 297.5 Passing Yards (-114)
He threw for over 500 against TCU. I think 300 is more than doable at home.
Even if the Buffs blow Nebraska out, which I don’t think they do, Deion is going to showcase his son’s talent in the home opener in Boulder.
They used Edwards as a receiver plenty so it’s clear this offense is all about airing it out.
He missed a couple deep balls against TCU to Hunter so if they connect on one of those, there’s another 50 yards under his belt.
In a prolific passing offense with tons of weapons, Sanders should easily clear 298 yards.
