LSU vs Ole Miss Best Bets
This game features two incredible dual threat QBs in Jayden Daniels and Jaxson Dart.
Dart ranks 14th among QBs in rushing yards with 219 on the year. Daniels isn’t far behind at 16th with 193 of his own. Dart has 3 Rushing TDs while Daniels has 2.
As passers, Daniels is 5th in passing yards, slinging the ball around for 1,296 passing yards, with 12 TDs and just 2 INTs. However, they are on the road in Oxford.
Dart breaks the top 25 in passing yards ranking 23rd with 1,096. He’s got just 7 TDs and 2 INTs as well.
This game is going to be quite the Quarterback/Head Coach showdown, and I, for one, am so ready for it.
This year I’ve faded the Rebels and taken the Rebels, unsuccessful both times. As far as the Tigers, I’ve been successful with their props, and I’ve got a few for this game.
So let’s get right into my favorite NCAA Football player prop bets in this game!
LSU Tiger Player Props
Brian Thomas Jr. over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-115) Bovada
Brian Thomas Jr. has cleared this line in 3 of his 4 games this season. He’s posted 130+ yards twice, and he had 60 in the game he didn’t clear.
It’s tough to choose between him and Malik Nabers, so this week I actually didn’t. But we will get to him!
Thomas Jr. has 25 catches this year and 5 TDs. Daniels does a great job of finding both he and Nabers throughout the game, so each tend to get their catches when the team succeeds.
I’m not sure LSU wins this game, sort of lean with Ole Miss, however, I think that translates to the Tigers throwing the ball, and letting Daniels air it out.
Thomas Jr. averages 17.1 yards per catch and 6.3 catches per game. It shouldn’t be this easy, but 67.5 is just too low for me.
Malik Nabers over 89.5 Receiving Yards (-115) Bovada
Like I said, we’re betting on Nabers for the third straight week, and I don’t see him having an issue here.
Nabers has cleared this line twice this year, both happening in the last 2 games when he had 130 last week, and 239 the week prior. He has 67, and 87 to open the season, so we’ve seen an increase in production.
As stated earlier, Daniels spreads the ball between his top 2 guys, keeping both them and their bettors happy.
Nabers averages 8 receptions per game on the year, and 15.8 yards per catch. He’s got 5 TDs of his own.
These receivers account for all of Daniels’ passing TDs this season.
With the way Brain Kelly is scheming the air attack for his wideouts and Daniels, I will probably keep betting these lines every week this season.
Ole Miss Player Props
Jaxson Dart over 0.5 Interceptions (-135) Bovada
Dart’s been squeaky clean this year with the football, but he threw one last week against Alabama. Yes, he is playing at home, but I’ve got faith in this LSU defense to rattle him.
The LSU Defense has 4 INTs so far this year, and have at least one in 3/4 games. LSU should spy Dart and limit the plays with his legs, forcing him to use his arm.
Both of Dart’s picks have come on the road this year, however this will be the best secondary he’s faced by far.
Against Alabama, Dart had to throw the ball 35 times, and he did so 27 times against Tulane. I think he definitely throws it more than 25 times, which will hopefully be enough to throw a pick.
He’s thrown one in every college game with at least 34 attempts.
Let’s sweat this one out, go Tigahs!
