- Georgia State +7 (-105)
- UConn -7 (-115)
- Over/Under 48
Slight Lean: UConn -7 (-115) BetOnline
While I won’t be betting it, I do slightly lean with the home team tonight. To be honest, there’s not much to like about this Georgia State team in my eyes. After starting 2-1 with a win against Vanderbilt, the Panthers have now lost 4 straight games, allowing 33+ points in 3/4 of those contests. This will be there 3rd straight road game, morale is certainly low, and getting your ass kicked on Friday Night doesn’t sound very appealing at all if I were a Georgia State player.
As for UConn, they’ve won 4 of their last 5 and are one win away from being bowl eligible. This is actually their last home game of the season, as they end the year with 3 games on the road. I expect UConn to come out firing and not leave anything up to chance on the road, securing eligibility tonight in front of their home crowd.
South Florida vs Florida Atlantic Best Bets
Betting Odds
- South Florida -2.5 (-110)
- Florida Atlantic +2.5 (-110)
- Over/Under 48
Slight Lean: South Florida ML (-138) BetOnline
Another one I’ll be sitting out, but I do think the favorite comes through. I’m leaning this way mainly because of the strength of schedule surrounding both teams.
Florida Atlantic’s toughest game so far this season has been against Army, losing 24-7 in Week 2. Other than that, they’ve played some AAC conference opponents, but that’s it. Not very, as the kids would say, “battle tested”. South Florida’s schedule has looked a little different. They’ve had to face #4 Alabama, losing by nearly 30, but did lead by 1 with 12 minutes to go. They also faced #8 Miami, again getting crushed 50-15. The rest of their schedule includes the top half of the AAC, facing Tulane and Memphis.
Ultimately, I see South Florida as the better, more battle tested team, and I trust them to get it done on the road tonight.
San Diego State vs #15 Boise State Best Bets
Betting Odds
- San Diego State +23.5 (-108)
- Boise State -23.5 (-112)
- Over/Under 55.5
Best Bet: Ashton Jeanty Over 189.5 Rushing Yards (-114) BetOnline
