In today’s MAC showdown, Ohio’s Anthony Tyus looks to continue his strong season against an Eastern Michigan defense that has struggled to stop the run. Tyus has been a consistent force for the Bobcats, averaging nearly 87 yards per game and finding success with every carry. With the Eagles’ defense ranking among the worst in the conference against the run, Ohio’s ground game could play a big role in the outcome of this matchup.

Eastern Michigan vs Ohio Best Bet
Bet: Anthony Tyus Over 70+ Rush Yards (-115) on BetOnline
Back to the props market we go! Big day for MAC running backs, especially Ohio’s Anthony Tyus, whose rushing prop is set at 69.5 yards. Tyus has been a force for the Bobcats, averaging 86.7 yards per game and 5.5 yards per carry on roughly 15 carries per game. The senior back has topped 70 yards in six of his eight games this season and is averaging 75 yards per game in conference play.
Today, he faces an Eastern Michigan defense that has allowed a running back to surpass 70 yards in four of their five conference games. The Eagles’ run defense has struggled, ranking 95th in rushing yards allowed and giving up nearly 200 rushing yards per game on the road. This lines up perfectly with Ohio’s game plan, as they average 42 rush attempts per game at home, ranking 31st in the country.
If Tyus gets his usual number of carries, he should have every opportunity to hit this mark. The magic number is 15 carries—hopefully, he can do it in fewer.
