Today’s college basketball schedule wraps up with a matchup between two hot teams in Honolulu, as Nevada and Hawaii meet at the Stan Sheriff Center (10:00 pm ET, ESPN+).
The Wolf Pack (8-1) are off to a fine start with three games remaining before they enter Mountain West Conference play. After suffering their first loss of the season to Drake last weekend, Steve Alford’s squad got back into the win column with a 72-55 win over Weber State on Wednesday.

Like Nevada, Hawaii (7-1) has only one blemish thus far this season, which came against Utah on November 30. Since that loss, the Rainbow Warriors have won their last two games against Central Arkansas and Division II Hawaii Pacific.

Nevada vs Hawaii Prediction and Picks
Prediction: Nevada to win
The Wolf Pack certainly can’t afford to take Hawaii lightly, even though the Rainbow Warriors haven’t played anyone of note outside of Utah.
As a team, Hawaii is shooting 38.7% from three and 49.3% from the field overall, and that three-point percentage actually goes up to 39.3% if you take out their two games against non-Division I opposition. Each of their top three scorers is hitting on over 40% from outside, including leading scorer Noel Coleman (16.9 PPG, 52.8% FG, 44.2% 3PT).
So, the Wolf Pack could be in for a real fight in this one. But the Rainbow Warriors will have their hands full with Kenan Blackshear (16.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 4.7 APG) and Jarod Lucas (16.1 PPG), and that duo will lead Nevada to win number nine.
Picks: Nevada -1.5 & Nevada/Hawaii First Half Over 66 (Both -110 at BetOnline – Bet These Odds & Get a 100% Bonus on Your First Cryptocurrency Deposit)
Along with Hawaii shooting the ball well, Nevada is shooting 47.3% from the field, so both teams are putting the ball in the basketball at a decent clip. I’m not going to commit to taking the over for the entire game, but this is a very reachable number for the first half.
Bonus Pick: Kenan Blackshear Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-130 at Bovada – Bet This Play & Get a 75% Welcome Bonus If Your First Deposit Is Via Crypto)
Blackshear, who had 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists against Weber State, has had 23 or more total points + rebounds + assists six times this season. So, there is a lot of value with this play, even with the odds at -130.
