Just like last season, the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title will be decided on the final day of regular season play, as Bradley and Drake will play for all the marbles in Peoria. (4:00 pm ET, ESPN2).
It’s a matchup of two of the hottest teams in college basketball, as Drake (24-6, 15-4 Missouri Valley) has won ten straight and Bradley (22-8, 15-4 Missouri Valley) has won nine straight.
Those extended win streaks have set up today’s title decider at Carver Arena, with Bradley having the advantage of playing host to the matchup.
Will they make the most of their home court advantage? Read on for our Drake vs Bradley basketball prediction and picks.

Notable Streaks at Stake for Drake
In addition to their ten-game win streak, a couple of other streaks are on the line today for the Bulldogs.
Since losing their first three road games in conference play, Drake has won six straight, and they have covered in four of those wins.
Also, after those first three games at Indiana State, Missouri State, and Southern Illinois all went under, Drake’s last six road games have all gone over.
Overall, it’s been a tale of two halves for the Bulldogs with regards to betting trends and stats.
In their first 15 Division I games this season, Drake was 4-10-1 ATS, and the over was 5-10-0. However, in the 14 games since, the over is 10-4-0, and they are 9-5-0 ATS, with covers in each of their last five games.
Over/under results have followed a similar pattern for Bradley. The over was just 4-11-0 in the Braves’ first 15 Division I games this season, but as with Drake, 10 of Bradley’s last 14 games have gone over.
The Bulldogs are going up against some formidable numbers today spread-wise today though.
In their first 22 Division I games this season, Bradley was 11-11-0 ATS, and they failed to cover in the first two games of their current win streak.
However, in their last seven games, the Braves have posted a 6-0-1 ATS record. A push as a 10-point favorite in a 64-54 win over Missouri State on February 15 is the only non-cover in this stretch.
Drake vs Bradley Prediction and Picks
Bulldogs vs Braves Prediction: Bradley to win
Bulldogs vs Braves Picks: Bradley -2.5 (BetOnline) & Drake/Bradley over 132.5 (Best Value: BetMGM)
When the Bulldogs and Braves met in Des Moines on January 14, Drake jumped out to a 22-point lead at halftime on the way to a resounding 86-61 win.
I think the Bulldogs are the better team, and if they meet in conference tournament championship game next Sunday in St. Louis, I will back Drake to win.
Last season, Loyola, who won the auto bid, was the MVC’s best team, but Northern Iowa had the benefit of playing their regular season title decider at home and took the top seed in an overtime thriller.
We may not get an overtime thriller today in Peoria, but I think the result will be much the same as it was in Cedar Falls a year ago today.
