#6 Wisconsin vs Nebraska Prediction:
There is a Big Ten showdown between two of the conference’s most exciting teams going down in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Cornhuskers host the #6 Wisconsin Badgers; the last time these two teams faced off was back on January 6th. Where the Badgers beat the Cornhuskers 88-72 in Madison.
This should easily be the game of the night. Nebraska will be in revenge mode, ready to prove they are better than their loss on January 6th. Conversely, Wisconsin will try to show the rest of the conference that Nebraska is beatable at home.
The Stank:
At home this season, Nebraska has been playing out of their minds, from their 16-point upset over Purdue, where they shot 60% from behind the arc, to beating some of the Big Ten’s best. The Cornhuskers have been unstoppable.
Wisconsin has been playing some incredible ball all season long. However, they are not top 10. They are good, but not enough to walk into one of the harshest environments in college basketball and dominate the Cornhuskers.
Haslametrics has the Cornhuskers having a significant away/home court advantage, being the 16th-best team at home. The Badgers, on the other hand, have been playing some of their worst ball on the road and are ranked 268th.

The Badgers’ defense tends to forget to tag along for some of these road trips. They struggle to defend on the road on the inside or outside, being in the bottom 25 in effective field goal defense, according to Bart Torvik. Their offense is still legit but not consistent enough to trust.
Prediction: Nebraska Wins
Concerns: Nebraska’s home magic fizzles out and Wisconsin blows them out.

Where to find more advanced analytics
If you are looking for advanced analytic websites for college basketball the ones I have mentioned above are my favorite two. They are free and very informative. Ken Pom is another great resource, but sadly you have to pay.
Remember, these are mostly used as a crutch. Do not let these be the end all be all to making wagers. They are not always right with their predictions. Use your plums, trust your gut, and remember you cannot win them all. If you have any questions my socials are below I am always free to discuss anything college hoops. Especially, if it is over a game that will have under 23 people in attendance.
