It’s TNT doubleheader Tuesday in the NBA, and tonight’s Turner twin bill sees the Los Angeles Lakers meet the Dallas Mavericks at Crypto.com Arena and the Phoenix Suns take on the Golden State Warriors at the Footprint Center.
In the nightcap, the Suns (12-10, 5-6 home) will look to avoid a third straight loss as they host the Warriors (10-12, 5-6 away), who will be looking to end a run of five consecutive road losses.
Both teams are coming off of a missed opportunity last time out. In Friday’s 114-106 home loss to the Sacramento Kings, the Suns led by nine at halftime but were outscored 33-12 in the third quarter and couldn’t turn things around in the fourth.
The Warriors were also on the wrong end of a result on Friday, falling 138-136 in overtime at Oklahoma City. After being up by 14 in the first half and nine in the third quarter, Golden State was still on the verge of closing out the Thunder thanks to Steph Curry’s tie-breaking three with 19 seconds left.

But Draymond Green fouled Chet Holmgren on a three-point attempt with seven seconds left, and the rookie nailed all three shots to force overtime, where OKC took over and held on to win.
The disappointing finish spoiled a strong performance by Curry, who made six threes and scored 34 points, his 10th 30+ point performance of the season.
Will Steph have another big game tonight? My three favorite Warriors vs Suns props are below, but first, let’s take a look at the odds for the game.

Best Player Props for Warriors vs Suns
Stephen Curry (Warriors) Over 4.5 Made Threes (-136 at BetOnline)
Friday was the 13th time this season that Curry made five or more threes in a game, with eight of those performances coming on the road.
He is only 5 of 22 (22.7%) from three in two games against the Suns this season, and he was 1 of 8 from outside in his most recent visit there on November 22. But I like my chances here anyway, even if it has a little more juice than I’d like.
Devin Booker (Suns) Over 5.5 Rebounds (-117 at BetOnline)
This is the season of giving, and Booker has done his share of that this month, dishing out 20 assists in three games. But he has also been in a getting mood, grabbing 10, 11, and 7 rebounds in those three games.
As if that didn’t make this prop appealing enough, Booker was busy on the boards in the first two games against the Warriors.
In the season opener at home, he had six rebounds, along with 32 points and eight assists). Then in last month’s matchup at the Chase Center, he had eight rebounds to go with 25 points and 10 assists.
Jonathan Kuminga (Warriors) Over 10.5 Points (-120 at BetOnline)
Against the Thunder, Kuminga posted season highs with 24 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes before fouling out with a minute left in overtime.
Kuminga has scored 11+ points four times in his last six games and 12 times in 21 games this season, with four of those instances coming in ten road games.
If he plays enough minutes, this one should hit. Friday was the 12th time this season that he played 20+ minutes, and he has scored 11 or more points in 10 of those 12 instances.
